I had a great experience here. I was staying across the street at the hotel and noticed the great outdoor seating. This is one of the best chicken biscuits that I’ve ever eaten. It’s a meal by itself. Perfect for brunch/lunch. Good coffee, friendly staff, good service. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great early morning meal or brunch.

We stopped at a different restaurant first, where we were told they weren’t doing breakfast because the cook was sick. They recommended Kenny’s to us, just a couple blocks farther down the street. We were glad we went. I heard the waitress recommending the chicken biscuit a couple of times, and I wondered how good could it possibly be in a place like this? It was VERY GOOD! We both remarked how good the coffee was, too. Wish they had Splenda & hazelnut, but no big deal! The service was good, & very helpful. If we’re ever back in Chattanooga, we’ll have to look them up!

It’s a little loud and echoing inside, service was great. There was no wait on Sunday morning…
We all enjoyed our food choices.
Biscuits are delicious. Sausage gravy could use a little more sausage.
Our server was excellent. We
Would definitely return

Someone recommended we go here and after we browsed the menu online we decided to give it a try. Went for a late lunch on a Sunday and didn’t walk away impressed. Although it’s in a beautiful building the inside is somewhat bland. Got a turkey brie sandwich which was decent but had very little turkey on it, fried pickles werent crispy and quite soggy, but cocktails were good. If you’re picky with your coffee, I’d skip it unless you were just to get drip because the cortado wasn’t drinkable. $75 for lunch is quite high and we were hoping the food would be more up to par. Service was great though!

loved this spot the moment we walked in. very cool building and decor. biscuits and gravy were tasty and great portion. coffee options were a great. i was able to get something similar to when i go to starbucks and that was a plus as i am picky about my coffee drinks. on a different day would have loved to try some of the alcoholic options! great level of service with multiple team members checking on us. will be back when visiting chattanooga!

Chose Kenny’s after it was highly suggested on reddit. Visited @8:30 on a Tuesday morning. Only customers when we arrived. Service was impeccable. Waitress was amazing, perfect balance of attentiveness. Ordered 2 lattes. Lukewarm and cold before we finished them. Ordered the biscuits and gravy and breakfast combo plate. Taste of food was wonderful but it was cold. Or eggs were the only thing even warm. Service was quick so food hadn’t been prepared and the sat waiting for waitress. It was perplexing. Since we were one of the first customers of the day. We had high hopes and will give it another chance. We just don’t understand why the temperature of all of our order including the coffee was cold.

We spent several days in Chattanooga for Labor day weekend. We dined at a ton of restaurants from casual to fine dining, and Kenny’s was literally one of the best dining experiences we had while there. If there was any complaint for us it would be the noise level when dining inside, but hey, it was busy and those high ceilings in those old buildings just bounce the sounds around.
That said, there is outdoor seating if you prefer, and the food and service more than make up for the noise level inside.
Our server was really friendly and polite and made sure to check with us each time she passed, even if it was just by making quick eye contact while walking by.
The food was delicious, everything.
We had the fresh veggie market melt… a sandwich in “work of art” form featuring fresh summer squash and sweet corn.
The biscuit and gravy wasn’t your normal southern biscuit and gravy.. it was so buttery and packed with flavor, it left us wanting more.
The two eggs with chorizo hash was a game changer, and will definitely be something we order again next time.

If you’re looking for a nice place to grab a bite, this is the place. I enjoyed a quick breakfast of coffee and avocado toast here. The place was almost empty when we arrived, but filled up quickly. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The toast and coffee were fine. The outside seating is nice. My only negative is that the music was a bit loud and due to its open space it gets loud, so having a conversation was a bit tough.

This was an amazing experience. I had the breakfast burrito with added chorizo, and it was a delectable mix of flavors. There was a generous amount of eggs, and eggs are my favorite food of all time so it was awesome.

One of the main things that sets this establishment apart from the rest is the service. Our waitress, Ellie, had remarkable service. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. She was very m attentive, but not overly obsequious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good breakfast food.
