Definitely good but also not spectacular. The concept is interesting and it’s a mix of Mexican with sushi (as the name implies). The queso dip is really good and has beans and some kind of hot sauce in it. The tacos are good – pretty simple. Sushi is also fine. Our server was super friendly and gave some good recommendations. I think given all of the other options for good restaurants in town I’m glad I tried this but don’t need to rush back by any means.

I don’t usually eat downtown because parking stresses me out (parallel parking is not my spiritual gift ), but Takosushi in downtown Greenville changed my mind! There’s easy parking just a block away and even a nice outdoor area if you’ve got your dog with you.
We were in town from Atlanta for a conference, staying at the Bohemian Lodge by the river, and wanted to try something new — and wow, are we glad we did. We ordered the Crazy Roll (aka the Kevin Roll), the Greenville Roll, the Rainbow Roll, and miso soup. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, but the Greenville Roll? Chef’s kiss — absolute perfection.
My friends said it was the best sushi they’ve ever had, and I agree… and that’s saying something, because we have a LOT of great restaurants in Atlanta. Our waitress, Lakyn, was so sweet and attentive, and Ishmael, the sushi chef, clearly takes pride in his craft. Even Parker, the manager (and bartender!), impressed me — she was meticulously inspecting each glass before using it. That level of care and attention to detail really stood out.
We were planning to eat somewhere else originally, but I’m so glad we ended up here. This place is a 100 out of 10. Next time we’re in Greenville, we’re coming back — and yes, I might try the tacos… but let’s be real, I’ll definitely be ordering more sushi.

We stopped by after walking around town and were glad to find outdoor seating to enjoy the nice weather. The service was great, and the food was flavorful and tasty. The sushi was fresh, and I especially enjoyed my poke bowl. The other dishes were also delicious and came in generous portions.

Such a fantastic place! We sat outside which was really enjoyable and the sushi was so good! The Krunchi Roll was really great. Parker, the assistant general manager was so sweet and brought us an appetizer on the house. Will be coming back!

Have been going here for years, but haven’t been in about a year or so, and tonight was a great welcome back. Nica, our server did a spectacular job. She was extremely polite, quick with service, and very attentive to whatever we needed. Sushi (volcano roll, firecracker roll) was delicious, and incredibly fresh, and Baja Fish Tako was wonderful as normal. We usually go for happy hour, but tonight was a great change of pace with skipping the crowd. We love this place and will continue to return.

Service was not good. Waited 10 minute before someone seen me at the bar for my pick up. Order was supposed to be ready by 8:05 after I ordered it at 7:23 and I left at 8:30. They checked my food behind the bar and made sure everything was there. I left and got home… MISSING FOOD! Looks like a 4 year old made the items I got and my sashimi was wet. I eat sushi all the time and this was an utter disaster and that place needs to be retrained asap!

I came to this location to pick up a door dash order. I was ignored by the 1st host he walked right past me as I was standing at the hostess podium. One of the waitress saw what he did and she walked up to me and asked me what I needed. I explained that I was there for a DoorDash order. She asked me to go to the bartender station and I just knew I was not gonna get any help like I did not get any help from the 1st waiter that ignored me. I basically had the waitress to come back and see if the order was ready. She explained that it wasn’t. I had to cancel this order because there was nowhere for me to park and I was parked Illegally in the area . I would suggest for people to not come to this establishment. I believe konnichiwa and the other sushi places downtown have great customer service unlike this location.
