Stopped here for lunch with my Dad, we were very pleased. The food was delicious, liked that they had a steak bowl option so I could skip the bun. The restaurant and restrooms were sparkling clean. Shirley was a friendly and attentive server. Easy accessibility and plenty of parking. Not far off of Interstate 81.

Today, my husband and I walked in, and not one person acknowledged us. The staff made glances at us but didn’t speak a word. There were 2 available tables but they were very dirty. Not one person offered a table or booth, knowing we were sitting there waiting for 15 mins. My husband is a member of 2 organizations that are very well known, and he’s definitely telling everyone about the poor service and treatment that we received. Went to a great restaurant nearby.

We had our breakfast this morning at this Waffle House #1199 at 1895 S Pleasant Valley Rd. . Winchester , Va. . Our food was perfectly cooked especially the scrambled eggs. Their Cook this morning did a great job. I think his name is Carlos as I heard other employees calling him this name . The place is clean and the server her name is Amelia . She is attentive . The place is clean . Coffee is hot . Very happy to have our breakfast here this morning . Had a toasted sliced raisin bread , new item to me .

The best thing about Waffle House is that it hasn’t changed in over 40 yrs. Same great food good people and nice laid back atmosphere. Home fries scattered, smothered, covered, topped, and chucked with 2 eggs over easy. Put it all together with the chili on top with a side of white toast. Perfect meal that I’ve been enjoying since the 1980’s. Thank you WH for keeping your ethics and hone town feel alive.

Great for a quick, cheap breakfast, no, much more than that. Excellent customer service, thanks to Roger. What a pro! The place was sparkling clean, including the restrooms. Loved the coffee, so good in the diner-style mug. Mom liked her waffle. I had hash browns, not a lot of vegan, but that’s not what Waffle House is. It’s an experience. This one was great. Keep going Waffle House 9″Top Waffle” award for sure!

Not sure what the new management is doing but berating and running off the staff in front of customers… if saying “mark” when conveying drop orders is more important than the burning waffles then you need to step away from the grill and see a therapist. Expect ridiculous wait times and be extra kind to the two ladies working today. God knows I would have rage quit in their place. Someone save these people please!
