The service and atmosphere created by the staff was the absolute best. I credit the manager, the so called “Jack Black of Wafflehouse”. I was very impressed with how the team operated together, effectively, efficiently, but light hearted. Though the restaurant was at capacity, and you know they had to be stressed, every employee had a smile on their face. If I ever had to work at a food service job this would be the location.

It was clean. Food was exactly what I expect at a Waffle House. Our waitress was training, but super sweet (Asia) and the cook/lead was a lady with a raspy voice (I didn’t catch her name) but she was working with the two girls training and was doing wonderful giving them the attention they deserved as new employees, cooking, and checking on us. Restaurant was clean.

Exactly what I would expect from a Waffle House. Good food, quick service, and wonderful banter between staff :). Growing up on Waffle House, visiting one is always a treat and the staff is always friendly. Not the cleanest bathrooms but on par with most WHs I’ve been to.

How to rate my experience at the waffle House. Food is really good not badly priced and very tasty. Atmosphere we definitely go there for the ghetto vibe so it fits. As far as service if you’re looking for your drinks on time or all your food to come at the same time but not get your hopes up. The service is what you would expect going to the ghetto and being served.

Hands-down, the best Waffle House we have ever been to in Virginia. Our wonderful waitress took our order at 9:05 AM, and we had our food on the table by 9:15 AM. We had paid the bill and left by 9:30 AM. This Waffle House needs to serve as a stellar example to other waffle houses how this business should be run. All the employees are happy and jovial, professional and prompt. We will be back when we are in Winchester, and anyone who has an opportunity to eat there should head over there now.

They weren’t taking to go orders at 2:55am but you could sit down and eat. Usually I think this is due to tipping but the menu says there’s a 10% service charge for to-go orders so that was confusing. Overall the service was fast (there was barely anyone there), great customer service and the food taste great!
