What a concept – Taqueria = Taco Korea!
Clean, well lit, open environment, offering plenty of seating and some fun selfie backgrounds.
The service was respectful and kind.
We ordered tacos (of course). Nick ordered the bulgogi tacos and I had a tofu taco and a bistec taco. Everything we had was exceptional. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!

The food was pretty good. We got crispy soy chicken wings which was very yummy; crispy with nice glazed sauce. The bulgogi bowl was a lot of food, I had to take the rest to go. The tacos dish came with the choice of fries vs tortilla chips. I’m glad we picked the fries because it was very nice and crispy. The tacos were interesting; both the chicken and pork were pulled and tender. A decent place to hit the spot of hunger.

Great place with a wide selection of cuisines. We started with steamed dumplings (shrimp and spicy pork) totally yummy! Followed by the carnitas taco and Korean fried chicken wings (boneless) which was perfectly crisply and tasty. Good service and cozy place! Definitely going back!

I love how decorated this place was for Halloween! Made a quick stop and we loved the food. I think their appetizer options could use more options, but both items were delicious. Def a little on the pricey side, but I would definitely come again! Would be so fun to visit with a big group of friends

This spot was really good. The fusion works. I highly recommend the fries topped with Korean and Mexican toppings. My knock on the place is the seating it’s not comfortable; hard metal chairs. Also the menu doesn’t match what was shown on their website. I really wanted ramen and ttebokki. But in general, taste was really good and will come again when I’m town.
The music sucks and was super loud. My whole time there, they had only played bachata (Dominican crying-love music); no K-pop nor Mexican music at all, which would’ve been preferred over bachata.
Server was awesome and attentive; too bad I had forgotten his name.
Parking sucks but drive around the block a few times and you’ll end up finding something.

The owner’s attitude was terrible. I used to really like their fries. They were battered and fried, and they were great. Now they’re just super salty, bland, gross potato sticks. I took the fries back to talk to the owner, but he was really rude. He said the old fries were out of stock and refused to give me a refund. I was like, fine, you can keep these disgusting fries. I’m never coming back to this place again. No wonder this restaurant is always empty.

I absolutely loved this place. The dishes are just as creative as the name, and the service was the best I received on this whole trip. I swear I just thought to myself, “Self, I need some sauce to pour on this bulgogi,” and no lie, our server appeared with a spicy mayo alioli. They were so polite, professional, and really took service to a whole new level……especially in Jersey. The Mexican Korean fusion in all we ate was just fire. I loved it all and will be back.

New Review for the New Management
This place has new management, and it seems they are placing a new focus on Food Quality. And it shows. In the past the food had grown mediocre as you can see by the many old reviews. Well this time we were both blown away. These might have been the best Double Fried Wings we’ve ever had from Takorea. Amazing. THIS is why we come here, I’m so glad that they’re making a return to the quality that we used to know. The Bulgogi Quesadilla was fantastic as well. Takorea, please keep it up! If the food stays this good consistently then this will quickly become a go-to for us whenever friends and family visit. I’m really excited to come back and get these double fried wings again knowing that they’re this good.
My only very very minor complaint about the “atmosphere” was the music selection; they seemed to be playing a Bob Dylan playlist. Now we all love and respect this American Music Master, but going to a Korean / Mexican restaurant, I was honestly hoping to hear something less-American. Eating bulgogi and hearing “Like a Rolling Stone” kinda kills the vibe I would love it if they went all-in on the ethnic choices here.

Excellent restaurant! Very nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. I had the burrito bowl with chicken and guac and my husband had the double crunch wings and he said they were the best he’s ever had! Ingredients were very fresh.
We were in town for a game at Red Bulls Arena and this restaurant is ideally located. Highly recommend.
