Stopped by for lunch. The hostess was charming. Service was fast and beautiful. The environment is lovely, calming, serene. As it’s mid-afternoon and 106°, very few customers unlike my evening visit when it was hopping. Already anticipating my next visit.

We loved this place best date night atmosphere we’ve found in Sugar land. Service was very attentive, drinks were great and food honestly was outstanding. Super fresh and well presented. We will defiantly be back to taste more of what’s available. Perks are is looks out to the lake and the sunsets over the bridge.

Amazingly, this restaurant has managed to stay open all through the pandemic and its aftermath. Not surprisingly, prices are up, for some entrées about twice. Very nice interior appointments and full, outstanding menu, still. All the food is delicious and expertly prepared. The sushi is still as good as any I have had anywhere in a long time. Fabulous presentation, and the service is (not surprisingly) excellent. I hope this one can stay in business (fine Japanese restaurants seem to have a problem doing so), because we have become regular customers. The higher prices now are, however, fair considering the quality of what is served.

Came to Takara a third time. Takara is definitely one of the best restaurant in Sugar Land. If u r craving for some sushi rolls or korean bugogi they have it all. Ambience and location is really nice and food is exceptional taste and quality. We enjoyed the apetizer jalapeneo bomb, sushi rolls and beef bugogi. Highly recommend this place for families, friends with or without kids to gather and have a great time in relaxing ambience with some awesome food. Susan was our waiting staff and she was incredible. Staff and service was great every time we were here.

A really great location and a beautifully decorated restaurant with attentive servers but the food is unfortunately not up to par to its striking appearance. They tasted just like any other standard sushi restaurant and I did not find anything that stands out that I must come back for it.

Loved this location for its unique atmosphere and attentive wait staff. Food was great and the lunch specials were reasonably priced (can’t speak to full price menu). In a great location, upstairs is cool, nice entry area with the sand, comfortable seating. Sushi was great!

Staff was very sweet, the waitress was very kind. The chefs did an amazing job with choosing our cuts. Best Sushi Restaurant I’ve ever been to. They have traditional sushi as well as fusion to appeal to everyone. Deadass coming back. The other staff around was also really funny. Everything was made in a timely matter and wasn’t even that busy. I can’t wait to go back
