Drove 40 minutes to dine at this Indian Restaurant that was rated 4 stars. I love trying new restaurants and Indian food is my favorite. Have to say that I was completely unimpressed. I’m not sure who all of the people are that gave these ratings but I have been left thoroughly perplexed! Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed how small and unkempt the place was. Paint peeling on some of the walls, ceiling tile very disgusting, a table that needed to be cleared. I even took a photo of the booth I was sitting in … Booth 2, I believe. At least that’s what the masking tape says.

We came during lunch and was hoping that there was a lunch buffet but the sweet owner was telling us that they tried for a few months but there were not enough customers to justify keeping the buffet going. They however, have a lunch special with 4-5 dishes on a tray with rice and nan. They were very good and huge portion size. Will def come back again!

I love the food, it was fresh home cooking. It was very delicious. It’s the best Indian food place I’ve tried. The husband and wife who work there make you feel like you are at home. Both the vegetarian and non vegetarian options are great and tasteful. The naan bread is freshly made and amazing! The cheese naan is to die for. I highly recommend.

This has been a spot for a couple of times, and I have to recommend this restaurant for their food and service. The menu has a variety of foods with your trademark Tandoor meats, biriyani (I’m not sure if I spelled it right), paneer and much more. The menu is extensive with great meats, vegetarian, desserts, and Lassi. As a fan of Indian food, this place has been amazing, to come have business and family meals. The family owning this is always welcoming and kind, bringing extra food or tea with a smile. It may be a little pricey but I believe it is worth the cost. If you are new to Indian food, or need a fun date dinner I would recommend the Taj Mahal dinner for 2, which includes Appetizers, Rice, Curry, Naan, Tea, and desert. It is a fun way to try different types of food in a 3 course format. I love this place, will be back and bring clients.

I could eat just the rice and be completely happy! Seriously, my wife and I drive 40+ minutes to eat here a couple times a month. The staff know us so well that they already know what we want as we walk in the door. Soni and Mohan are wonderful people and hosts. And Dawn is one of our favorite people on the planet! Yes, some times the spice level can be a little challenging. Mohan likes to test my will to live sometimes and can get a little over-generous with the pepper. But it’s Indian food, people. If you’re not sweating while you eat you’re not doing it right. Love the naan. And the Mulligatawni soup is the best I’ve ever had!

Best hidden Indian restaurant! I am a huge fan of Indian food. These dishes are to die for. The quality and flavors of their food were amazing. I will be back for sure. They had lamb, goat, chicken, and beef. Staff was amazing too. Very friendly and tended to our needs. Thank you for a great dinner!
