Opened September, 2022, what a beautiful, clean restaurant. Everyone we came in contact with was so nice and friendly, really made you feel welcome. We had to try a little bit of everything. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp, Lamb Chops, Mixed Grill, Chicken Saag,

Great spot for Indian cuisine. Food is great. I had the goat vindaloo and my wife had the chicken biryani. Both were delicious. The samosas were great. Great atmosphere. Wait staffs just need a slight improvement. Other than that, everything was great. Definitely will go back there.

Used to be a regular customer here and had originally posted a 4 star review. Editing to replace with my latest experience. We got take out on a weekend and we ordered the Chicken appetizers. The chicken was dry and the chewy. No efforts were taken to ensure if the chicken was cooked through out. We ordered the paneer pasanda and paneer kadhai but got the same dish. On contacting the they mentioned that pasanda is not on the menu. Was the worst experience ever. Never visiting again! Do not recommend visiting on weekends ever.

We had the pleasure of eating here this week. We came to see a friend’s band play (they have live music in the bar) but were surprised at how much we loved the food here! We had gotten takeout before and it was really good, but dining in was 10x better. Amazing presentation, great flavor profiles and very helpful and attentive staff. Didn’t get a great picture before we started devouring, but we got the Samosas, Pani Puri, Paneer Tikka, Lamb Chops. We loved it all, but that Paneer was fantastic. Best Indian food we’ve had in Suffolk, by far.

Loved their food and service. We went for a lunch buffet. They had plenty of varieties, both in veg and non-veg. Most of the items taste amazing. This is one of the best, if not the best, Indian restaurants on Long Island.

We went here for lunch and they offered a lot of varieties of food items, in both vegetarian and non vegetarian, you can get a mango lassi and pepsi on request, the ambience is good and you will get a good Indian vibe. Don’t forget to have chocolates at the entrance.

Taj is a magnificent upgrade in terms of Indian cuisine in available in Suffolk county. Went for dinner with my wife and we were amazed at the interior decor and ambience when stepping into the restaurant. Ordered their Negroni which was great and the dessert Martini and chicken pakora for appetizer. We ordered spicy for the pakora but it wasn’t up to our liking so for the entrees we were specific that we wanted desi spicy in terms of how hot the dishes should be. Our server, Gnanesh went above and beyond to get what we wanted throughout the dinner. We had the dal makhni, goat vindaloo and chicken biryani with roti and each and every item was amazingly prepared. Spice levels were perfect and the curries were so aromatic and the portion sizes were great.
