I got a bacon cheeseburger and some tater tots. It was probably the best cheese burger I have ever had at sonic, not greasy or messy. There was just the right amount of toppings, it was prefect! The carhop, Olivia told me it was Andee in the kitchen. Olivia was super nice and was quick with my order. 10/10

Feb 22 2026. 8:45pm. Ordered sonic cheeseburger minus the mayo, add mustard and bacon. Cheddar peppers with ranch. The order took over 15 minutes. I was the only customer there. My burger had mayo, and no mustard or bacon. And no ranch for my cheddar peppers. Come on people, do better.

Smaller towns can have trouble finding help. This Sonic is nicely sized and has eager employees. Having a pair of horses pull up to a menu board was a bonus

The bottom line up front: avoid this “restaurant “. Expect to wait 30-45 minutes after placing your order before receiving it. When you do finally receive your order, expect it to be wrong. When you look at what they give you, you will quickly see the effects of poor management and lack of quality control. The attached photo is a good example. The picture is the exact way the food looked when pulled from the wrapper.

I sat there for 5 minutes after pushing the button for other cars pulled up hit the button got served while I was still waiting and I ended up getting their food while I was still waiting to be even asked for my order they need to do their job and not take people out of order when they hit the button just because they want to do what they want to do

Made two separate orders. The first one was approximately $23 sat there and ate and I couldn’t even get a cup of ice water without having to pay for it. The second order was about $30. Get all the way back to my son’s house and realize half of his food is gone. Not even in the back. I was so upset and disappointed. I called up there and they told me. Oh well you can come up here and get another hamburger. Well I think they should replace the whole entire order and choose not to. Very disappointing.

I shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes for a plain cheeseburger and a drink. My order was out for delivery and then the whole screen reset and I never recieved anything on top of the fact that 9 cars pulled up after me and every single one was served first. I left before waiting any longer in the sun. It’s like this every year and I’m surprised yall aren’t shut down yet.

I like the way Sonic in Holden (like others) keeps your old favorites on the menu, like the chili cheese Coney, but they’re also adding more things, like pickle fries and the smash burger. And their variety of drinks is astounding!

Some ordered on the app. When we arrived every stahl was full. I didn’t get any condiments and with no place to park I went home with my food. Well I thought. Got home and missing 2 burgers and my order of corn dogs. The food we did get was cold and terrible. One burger wasn’t even warm and the fries had to be from yesterday. I called several times and nobody answered the phone. This place is trash. I won’t be back and I hope nobody does. It’s one of the main places in town, but there needs to be another option. Anyone can make better food and if anyone opens anything it will kill it if you just get the right food to the right people.
