We had the chicken criollo, alcapurrias and beef stew. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. And they also serve a good coffee too.

I had the pollo en salsa criolla, mofongo pernil, and alcapurrias. The rice was not the freshest, it was a bit stale. My chicken was also a bit dry but the flavor was great, it was very hard and hard to chew but I still enjoyed it. The mofongo was also very hard to put my fork into and eat it. The pernil was a bit dry but also had amazing flavor. My favorite thing out of everything I ordered were the alcapurrias. They were amazing and reminded me just of the ones back home on the island. I ordered my food through uber eats so I definitely want to give them another chance and try out the food in person! Nonetheless, the meals were authentic and delicious besides a few flaws.

Excellent hospitality and service! Staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The wings weren’t warm enough and the staff offered to warm them up in the oven, which was thoughtful and sweet. The food was delicious and the atmosphere definitely gives PR vibes! Nostalgic and amazing!!

Overall great place! Taino kitchen offers authentic Puerto Rican food that is very fresh and tasty. The inside was decorated with native Taino decor, they are from Isabela. It was hot inside, felt like I was in Puerto Rico. The outside was decorated just like San Juan, with the umbrellas and flags! The ladies working there were very nice and helpful! Food came out quick! I ordered all the starters and it was delicious. The pink sauce was only ketchup and mayo, I wish it had a bit more seasoning. The beef empanadas didn’t have a lot of flavor and it was a little oily. The papa rellanos were very very good – I wish there was either olives or peppers mixed in the meet to give it more flavor. To eat I ordered beef with onions, the beef was cooked perfectly- I didn’t even need to use a knife. The beef was flavored perfectly and not salty at all. I wanted white rice and beans but they ran out. I love that, really shows they cook fresh and use fresh food. The maduros weren’t too mushy and were delicious. The churrasco wasn’t my favorite- a bit dry. The pernil was a little dry and needed some salt, maybe a bit more flavor. The seafood was delicious! The guava and passion fruit juices were fresh, thick, not very sweet. Overall, everything was delicious! I would come back to get, and I definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back

Tainos is a vibrant and beautifully decorated spot with a lively atmosphere. While parking on the street can be a challenge due to the small lot, the experience is well worth it. The food is absolutely delicious, making it a must-

Im writing this as I sit belly full and sooo satiated by the meal I just had at Tainos Kitchen. We put the seafood medley and the pork and shrimp mofongo and it was so delicious. I love garlic so the sauce was perfect. Service was excellent, both staff and customers are friendly.

I stopped by Tainos Kitchen for take out and was greeted by a very pleasant staff member. My order arrived fairly quickly and was packaged in such a way that my rice and beans weren’t mixed to prevent the rice from being extra soggy prior to my enjoying it.

After the first bite I was hooked. The pork was very well seasoned and the bean and rice were just right!

I highly recommend!
