The best Mexican I’ve eaten since being in Puerto Vallarta. Amazing! Great portion size matched with great prices. Our server was a nice fellow, helpful and smooth. We will absolutely be going back and this to our favorite places to eat.

This place has some of the best Mexican food in the state. I’ve lived in Nevada where good Mexican food is plentiful; I have a hard time finding something that is comparable here in Michigan. The only two options I’ve found in Michigan is southwest Detroit and this place.

Absolutely the best restaurant salsa ever!! The flight of house margaritas was to die for!!
Everything is home made in house. The only thing that isn’t is the cheese and sour cream. Think about that!! Corn chips were just perfect and black bean botana dip was divine!! Shredded chicken tacos on corn tortillas, refried beans and Spanish rice couldn’t have been better. Everything was so fresh and tasty.
Wait staff were friendly and atmosphere was cheery and clean.

Seriously the BEST nachos I have ever had… the half size is only $5 and it’s more than enough for 2 people to share. The street tacos were great too! I am super bummed that I will probably never get a chance to eat here again since I live 4 hours away in Ohio!!

Went there for supper after visiting Sperry’s Movie house. Tio Gordos is a Mexican resaraunt that truly won’t disappoint you. Great food. Friendly and efficient service. Extremely clean and can’t wait to return.

The coconut margarita was excellent. The smothered burrito was pretty good, the portion was massive but it was a little under seasoned all around. The chips and salsa tasted fresh but also were missing seasoning. Ask for the rocket fuel salsa, it has a nice sweet heat and was the most flavorful thing I tried here.

Very good! Tried shrimp taco, fish taco and street taco, came with a side of rice and beans, all good. Also tried the chicken chimichanga, it was excellent, flash fried, not deep fried, good flavour in all the sauces, came with rice and guacamole. All very reasonably priced!

Another wonderful restaurant in downtown Port Huron. They were extremely busy but the service was top notch and professional. The wait was normal for any establishment. Wonderful atmosphere and very inviting. Food was out of this world.

Doug was amazing bartender and waiter. Great personality and can make one hell-of-a cheap drink. Ordered Tamales that you can order by the half dozen! Also ordered enchiladas, unbelievably satisfying!
