Growing up in Williamsport in the 1970s and 80s, Tag’s was an experience like no other. The food, the place, the people, the sense of welcome and family– it was special. Although that environment can never be re-created, they’ve done an amazing job cooking the food using the recipes we grew up loving. And they make me feel good every time I walk through their doors. Staff at Tag’s Family Takeout are welcoming and knowledgeable. I have catered an family celebration at their store and the meal was fresh, homemade, and so delicious. I can’t say enough about how great not only their food is, but also how the new generation has continued their parents’ and grandparents’ tradition of welcoming hospitality and dedication to making family recipes with only the best ingredients and care.

I reached out to Tag’s as a place for a family luncheon after a funeral. They were so easy to work with and the plans were easily made. The food was scrumptious!! My family felt comforted by the inviting and charming atmosphere of the store. Everything was prepared perfectly for the event! I am still craving the Aldo Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Roasted Chicken, Potatoes, Chicken Parmesan, and the Bread with Peppers. Honestly, I am sure all of the dishes they serve are amazing. If you want a wonderfully adorable atmosphere and amazing Italian comfort food, then choose Tag’s for your next event. The best part is that you can get the take-out any time for just your family as well!

We picked up lasagna, eggplant, and salads for a little get-together at our house. Everything tasted so good, but I must say the eggplant was the best of all! Thank you for the high quality ingredients used to make each dish a success.

Tag’s food is pure comfort food! The meatballs & sauce are perfection. Portions are huge and perfect for sharing. Peppers are a great compliment to any of the dishes. Batter-Up Bakery cheesecake to assure you’re filled to the brim! Ha! Thank you Aldo – your customer service was refreshing and we’re looking forward to many, many more meals!

Lived in Williamsport 1960 to 64. Went to the restaurant often. My parents became friends with Tag and Leah-we were invited upstairs to their apartment several times. My whole life since I’ve craved Leah’s lasagna and yesterday I crossed it off my bucket list. Got a duo pan (8-10 servings for me) and 1 for my dad plus extra sauce. Back in the 70’s we always went to Tag’s Italian Restaurant for great meals. The restaurant has been out of business for many years but one of the family members started to make items from their menu and are selling them as take out only. They taste like the original recipes!
