Service wasn’t very good from the beginning. We were forgotten for like a good 30 min. And than the food was terrible. I asked for Mongolian beef and the portion size was horrible. The fried chicken wings were not even fried and they’re frozen. The only thing good that I ordered was the crab Rangoon. But other than that everything else was really bad. The fried rice was even terrible! Would not recommend at all. I spent like $80 on this terrible food which makes it worse.

The visit was disappointing. No longer do they offer a variety of steamed buns. There are two options under Dim Sum but were not what I had in the past. I was really looking forward to the buns. Also, they no longer offer a variety of teas. I recall loving the vanilla and, I think, mango teas. When the hostess/server/busser sat us, she did provide a pot of tea. It was very good, the typical tea offered in Chinese restaurants.

I ordered here for mother’s day and it was actually gross, the pan fried noodles tasted like only soy sauce was added and the chicken tasted rotten. I paid $65 for 3 entrees and 2 appetizers and everything was bad. I’m disappointed and i also placed the order 35 minutes before coming and they still asked me to wait 10 more minutes.

Tried this small oriental joint out last week. Food was slightly above average. Service was great and waiter was friendly. First dish we tried was the orange chicken. Chicken had a thick layer of spicy sweet sauce and the chicken was still nice and crispy underneath. The hot and sour soup was phenomenal. Vegetables in the soup still had texture to them with every bite. Little bit of sour and little bit of spicy.

This is one of the most authentic places I have been for Chinese food. The service is excellent and the place looks fabulous with their ornate Chinese interiors. The food is amazing and allergies are first addressed by the staff even before we say it.

Great ambiance, friendly service. Came in at 8pm on a Sunday night, they close at 9pm and were made to feel welcome. Beautiful ornate decorations throughout the restaurant, even the ceiling and everything is very clean! Hard to keep dust off so much decoration but they do, it was spotless. Chairs with carved wooden backs, very comfortable. Owner came by to ask us about our food and was very pleasant. Waiter was personable and suggested menu items. The Mongolian beef was great with very fresh vegetable ingredients. My father had the Happy Family dish but the scallops were tiny with an odd texture. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly which was nice. Large selection of loose teas (white, green and pu erh types) served in glass teapots so you could admire the tea color.

My husband and I ordered Tae Fu on Christmas Day, (take-out). We live in Villa Park and used to frequent this restaurant years ago, having great experiences. Unfortunately, last nights meal was an indication we will not be returning in the future. Sweet and Sour sauce almost had a ketchup taste, container for sauce was only half full. Breading for chicken didn’t taste or look fresh. The items that were fried fresh were very oily/greasy, and the Orange Chicken had an odd consistency and flavor. They also forgot to pack one of the rice containers. Before tip, our total was $46+. We ended up throwing over half of our meal in the garbage after a few bites. Everyone who works there is super sweet so I hate to leave such a poor review, but the food is what people should be returning for. Would recommend elsewhere.

Just moved into the area and this is our new favorite Chinese/Korean restaurant.. We didn’t have just great food but the service was absolutely awesome.. The owner josh came to talk and check on us also to get feed back about our food and experience. They had blooming tea which is my favorite and I have never seen at a Chinese restaurant before. Also descovered my new favorite dessert moshi. The black pepper chicken was to die for and the egg rolls were so crispy and so fresh. We are just going to live in the parking lot so we can eat there 247… You won’t regret going there!!
