Great little place with a very colorful and refreshing. Menu has a variety of items and I love their combinations in the tacos. Had a couple of them and felt the flavors didn’t go really well together yet it wasn’t bad. So I would say 4/5. Definitely a must try place for Veg/Vegan ppl. And also for those who are artsy.

We hired TacoWala’s cart for my sons birthday party at our home. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish working with Amish and his team. Planning was easy, Amish was very responsive and flexible to meet our needs. His team on the day of – Junior and Rodney – were so pleasant and helpful and took care of absolutely everything. The food was fantastic, fresh, and tasty. Indian and non-Indian guests all thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend!

Such a great spot in Somerville especially for vegetarians and vegans! Some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! So much flavor, the ingredients are so fresh and the serving size is perfect. The street corn and the black magic is a MUST! Don’t miss out for lunch if you’re in downtown Somerville!

We have been looking forward to trying Tacowala for awhile now after hearing about it and it did not disappoint. Tried 3 different tacos, chips and quac, and the salsa. All were fantastic and it was nice to have all vegetarian options and not having to explain “yes I said without protein”! I highly recommended and think non vegetarians / vegans would also enjoy very much! The food was fresh, service was fast and friendly, and there’s a great ice cream place right across the street. The perfect location for a casual meal with friends, families, and kids alike.

The Tacowala team catered my FIL’s surprise 70th event. Amish, the owner, helped us design the venue for the group we had invited (special diets, etc.), he arrived promptly before the party started so everything looks fabulous at our event space, the food was served on time and folks helped themselves to double or triple the servings. The overall set up was beautiful and added a lovely flair of color to the space. Everything was just perfect and I would hire Tacowala again for our next event! Thank you Amish and team. The three of you were a pleasure to interact with this past Saturday! I appreciate all of your input, patience and kindness throughout the evening.
