The tacos here are on a whole nother level. If you are trying to decide on if this is where you want to eat. Stop! These are the Best tacos in all of New Jersey! The kicker is They are gluten free and Vegaterian or they can be made Vegan. Oh and the guacamole is incredible!

I went to a supper club hosted by the chef, Amish, and it was beyond incredible. The place was decorated beautifully (including the plates!), there was a fun and excited vibe amongst all the guests, and each bite of food was so special.
The level of Mexican and Indian fusion showed deep knowledge of the ingredients, and it was a mind-blowing experience. I’ll definitely be signing up for the next one too!

Tacowala is a favorite of mine for lunch or dinner! My go-to is the black magic quesadilla, but I haven’t had something I didn’t like. The flavors are all familiar but interesting and truly a fusion.
I recently went to a supper club they hosted and was impressed by every dish! You can tell the owner is passionate about food and flavor from how he described each item presented on the menu. I added some pictures from the supper club here.

We are regulars at Tacowala and we love the unusual recipes. Is it Mexican? Indian? A bit of both? Amish has created a fantastic medley of dishes that will make you come back for more. I also recommend the Supper Club where folks can try an assortment of fun dishes that is carefully and thoughtfully put together by the chef. Oh and don’t believe him if he says he is not a dessert person!

Great place to eat especially for vegetarians. Always pleasantly surprised to see someone craft a unique and tasty menu for those with different diets. Plenty of options but decided to go with Birria tacos and mushroom quesadilla. I can’t eat spice so I made sure to order the less spicy ones. The lady working there was super nice and helpful. Both dishes were very tasty and not too spicy for me. Will be back to try the rest and would reccomend.

I stopped by this vegan and vegetarian taco spot and tried the Black Magic Tacowala Trio Street Tacos along with the Cheesy Birria Quesadilla. The tacos had a great kick of spice and bold flavor, while the quesadilla was perfectly cheesy and satisfying. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned — definitely a spot worth revisiting!

Found this place online while passing through the area – a good variety of vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten free. The style and vibe in the pictures matched the restaurant 100%. The food was delicious and the owner was so kind and friendly, not just to me, but to other guests dining in as well. Totally recommend trying them out! Thanks for a great experience and great food.

What an amazing restaurant this is! A unique casual quick service fully vegetarian restaurant that combines Indian ingredients and Mexican cuisine but stays true to its identity as a tacoria.. beautifully balanced menu with great variety and each dish packs a punch.
The guacamole was amazing.. tangy and flavorful.. just the way I like it, and not bland like in most chain restaurants. The salsa was truly outstanding and the corn chips too.. never have we gone through my order of chips as we did here!
Special call out to the Paneer Birria Mulitas which I got based on the manager’s recommendation.
Very rarely, you eat food that blows your mind.. I found myself thinking about this meal for a long time after.
Oh and the decor has so many pretty touches and is totally insta worthy.. lot of good photo ops here.
