A very good barbecue restaurant. I do like his barbecue sauces which you can buy at the restaurant or order online at target or Walmart
Their family platters feed a family of five. The st. Louis ribs are my favorite as well as their smoked hot sausage. The side that are winners are the baked beans, potato salad and fries. The bar is an average bar. Prices are reasonable for food and drinks. Plenty of parking spaces. They do cater if needed. Join Dave’s email program for coupons and promotions.

Excellent!!! You can never go wrong with Famous Dave, delicious ribs, awesome fried catfish and delicious fluffy corn muffins and sweet spicy, hot Wilbur beans and yummy garlic mashed potatoes. Try it out you’ll love it!

Great location. It is clean, awesome service, and lots of parking. I usually meet up with several friends on a Sunday to watch the football games, have a few beers, and a bunch of delicious appetizers. I have been going here for years, even order take out for dinner or when having people over and not wanting to fire up the bbq! I highly recommend getting one of the combination meals, you get so much food you will have lunch the next day or enough for two…

Really really really need to clean. Menus covered in sauce and nasty stuff. Tables sticky and gross. Can wipe up a black film with your napkin. Pork sandwich was 90% fat. Have had Famous Dave’s in other places and it has always been good. Not sure what the deal is here.

Great food, their ribs are delicious. Manager was very nice. They forgot one of our appetizers once and the manager was kind enough to give it to us on the house along with desert and also 2 bottles of their bbq sauce (which tasted great when i made my own buffalo wings at home ). Great food, nice environment, and clean. Come here often and will continue to.

4 years ago my wife and I had this Famous Dave’s cater our Wedding and now it’s a tradition to go for our anniversary. My wife and I go every 2 years for our wedding anniversary, and this year was no different…however we showed up 25 minutes before closing, let me tell you, the staff was so accommodating and understanding, and gave us top notch service even though they were almost closed. Also the food was just as great this late, as it is during a normal dinner hour (I highly recommend the brisket, and chicken strips). Amazing all around, thank you Famous Dave’s for continuing to make our special day special.

So the good news is, the barbecue is great! Large portions, low prices. Service is pretty good too. Super casual, but very friendly, decent bar selection as well. The bad news is that some of the side dishes were weak. Baked beans and coleslaw was great. Baked potato was lackluster and the corn was soggy. This is a cardinal sin on New Jersey. Go for the main course and skip the sides.
