The food is good, but the service and overall operations definitely need urgent improvement.

We went on a Friday afternoon, and since Doral Yard gets pretty busy, things quickly became chaotic. There was one woman taking all the orders—and she was doing everything. She takes your order, yells it to the kitchen, and then tries to organize everything as the two kitchen staff prepare the food. There’s a lot of room for error, and unfortunately, we witnessed it firsthand.

We ordered the Asada Machete, one order of Tacos al Pastor, and one order of Campechano. There’s no pager system, and they don’t take your number to text you when the food is ready. So, if you want your food fresh, you pretty much have to stand there and wait. We saw multiple orders just sitting on the counter, and since it’s an outdoor setup, there were a lot of flies buzzing around.

We waited about 20 minutes for our order. Eventually, we were handed the Tacos al Pastor and the Machete. When I asked about the Campechano, the woman said, “Oh, did you order those after?” I explained that all three items were ordered at the same time. Thankfully, the kitchen had just finished them, and she handed them over.

But the whole system is flawed—she takes the order, shouts it to the kitchen, and then clips the paper with all the others. There’s no organization, no tracking, and it’s super easy for things to get lost or delayed.

I understand it’s a new restaurant, and again—the food is really good. But unless they fix their operations, the customer experience will continue to suffer.

I’ve had pretty much their entire menu lol I love how fresh the tortillas/chips are, very authentic flavor. The chilaquiles are HUGE, you can easily share them with someone else. Also the aguas frescas are delicious ❤️ love this place!!

Very disappointed. The food was extremely salty, greasy, and lacked flavor. This isn’t even close to real Mexican cuisine. The chile tasted like a simple puréed pepper no depth, no seasoning. It felt more like a topping for Venezuelan arepas than Mexican food. A fresh tomato salsa might help, but overall, the flavors just didn’t come together. I won’t be ordering from here again, yuck!

The meat tasted old, the tacos are miniature and the service is very poor.

Was pretty much completely empty. Really sloppy presentation. The tables next to the restaurant were filthy wood tables. Just realized they never even gave me chips and salsa that I ordered. They don’t even serve half of the things on the menu probably because they’re not busy enough. They didn’t even have a proper small cup for birria they gave me like a cup for a soft drink lol. Overall, I guess the tacos were OK but I would never go back. Atmosphere and presentation was like zero out of 10, type of place you feel gross after eating there.

We ordered a birria machete and carne asada quesadilla. It takes more than 20′ even, and it looks like the staff were lost and not sure how to make the order. Very disappointing experience

The machete said it has that has Queso Oaxaca but it’s not true it’s Mozarella cheese . The tortilla it’s so thick , the respond of the cook was that she has not been trained, the only thing I liked was the salsas .

The tacos and the “machete” are incredibly well made and delicious. If I could swim in the birria caldo I would.
