I ordered my food (1combo). The man behind gets his bigger order before me. I get my order and notice it doesn’t look right. I mention it to the employee and literally point to it on the menu/receipt. She looks in the bag and says it is right. I get it home and like I thought it was completely wrong. It was also cold to the point the bag of food must have been sitting there for a bit. The employees were also making fun of the people in the drive through. I live far enough away I did not want to drive back. Your employees definitely don’t care if they do even a half way decent job! How do I get my money back?

They Charge you for sauce!! I wasn’t even asking for extra sauce. I ordered a combo meal and when I asked for fry sauce for my tots they charged me .40 cents per sauce. You can spare on fry sauce for the meal I just bought from you guys!! You might have got .87 cents from me. But you lost a customer for life!! It’s the principle! No other place charges for sauce that should come with your meal!!! Never coming back here again!!!

The restaurant is empty for a reason stay away. I went to do the 4 for $6.95 and asked for a small drink. The employee was rude and said it was not included in the options. Literally all other Taco Times allow for the small drink. It’s cheaper than the other items on the 4 for 6.95 menu and a sales a sale.
The employee was rude about it and when I said other locations have allowed this he said he doesn’t and to hurry up and pick another item.
This is mediocre food and so I opted to leave. I will not go back to this location.
Other point of note, this location is lacking with in dining seating, the salsa bar is not set up, and there is an odd smell inside. It could be a combo of burgers and Mexican type food or something else.

I love Taco Time, but this location got the whole order wrong accept the soda pop I filled myself. It was hot and tasted okay, but it was all wrong. It cost $19 and I would expect for meal for 2 people that it would be right.
It was slow, we were only people inside restaurant so I don’t get how it could be so messed up. I gave 3 stars because the soda pop mix was great, the service was nice, and it was hot – we were hungry, had it to go and no time to turn around and go back… but example told them no rice on burrito, it was loaded with rice. The pastrami burger had no pastrami but was cheeseburger. Suff like that so annoying. Why? Makes no sense.

As fast food places go, I love Taco Time. Their food had less of a processed taste and feel than the big chain taco stores. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still fast food, but I think it’s a little more fresh and tastier. I love their hard shell tacos and the soft bean burritos, but really, all of it is just a vehicle to get their green sauce into my face. This location is nice, because it’s also a Big Rod’s so if someone does not care for fast mex, they can also get a burger or chicken sandwich, and again, it’s fresher and higher quality than some other places. One last thing worth a mention.. they usually offer a dog treat when they see my dog’s with me, so of course this is her favorite place to go. I love places that go above and beyond like that.

I really enjoy taco time. My favorite thing to order is their crisp burritos. They are cheap and yummy. I always get the green sauce to put on them and it makes them better! I always order their Mexi fries too which is just tater tots.

Was just here, ordered a guac burger combo from the Rod’s menu and I have to say this is LEAGUES better than the BK in the same shopping center. Guac burger had just the right amount of spice to it, very good fast food.
What the Rod’s has over Burger King:
Fries are fantastic, thick restaurant style. Comes with at least one fry sauce so you don’t have to ask.
They make burgers any time. I asked the guy at the counter if it was too early for burgers and he said it was no problem. Compare to traditional fast food burger joints where they don’t have the equipment set up until 10:30 or 11:00 depending on the place.
Five stars! Probably my new preference for fast food burgers.

We’ve tried this place about a dozen times over the last theee years. Today we ordered 4 crisp tacos and 4 soft bean burritos. When we got home we received crisp tacos and crisp burritos. Disappointed but we didn’t want to drive all the way back.
Also the food is always served cold. I am concerned The taco meat is below temperature.

Been a few times, and this place has spotty service. Pulled up to the drive through and waited about half a minute without hearing anything so I finally said “Hello?” Then someone took my order. Then we waited about 15 minutes behind two other cars that weren’t moving at all.
Finally, my wife went in and asked what was going on. One person was cooking, and the rest were just standing around. Apparently they had run out of meat and were cooking more.
Firstly, the time to cook more meat isn’t when you’ve run out and someone’s placed an order for it. Secondly, our order didn’t have meat and we probably could have gotten through the line. Most other places you go will ask the car with the issue to pull forward so they can get the line moving again. Poorly managed restaurant. This isn’t the first or even the second time we’ve had long wait times at this location. We ended up asking the person behind us to back up so we could leave.
It’s at 2 stars because when I have gotten my food, it’s generally been pretty good. But it’s not 15 minute wait good, and I can microwave some cheese in a tortilla at home.

Cons: Although this is supposedly also a Big Rod’s, they didn’t have any burgers cooked and didn’t even have the grill on. We were told it would take 30min for the grill to heat up. My favorite crisp chicken burrito sub sub-standard (how can this be, aren’t they made in a factory somewhere and frozen? Maybe they changed the filling?) The staff got our order wrong. The salsa bar wasn’t clean or fresh enough to eat from. The only Pro was that the staff was very apologetic.
