My daughter and I love this place. My husband has high expectations so sometimes he loves it and sometimes the food is lacking. It’s five star on a night when I don’t want to cook and we need an easy night of Chinese food. I wouldn’t seek it out as a traditional night of Chinese cuisine but I love that’s it close and easy and good. I have eaten here a lot and I keep going back so it’s a win in my book! We moved to Buford Ga 5 years ago from NYC and if you’re from NYC you know Chinese food is a staple. We’ll let me just say Friends House is the only Chinese food that has come close to feeling like home. We love the beef and broccoli, pork fried rice and so many other things. The owners and staff are always pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend eating here. Takeout or dine in.

It was interesting once we got there to find that if you want to eat in that they will just give you your to-go order and you can sit down and eat it no service follow up. The science is of course since they have short people this is what you have to deal with and have patience. We didn’t have a lot of time so we only hurt appetizers. We had egg rolls and hot sour soup and an order of fried dumplings. The hot and sour soup once weak and taste and the broth was salty and not flavorful. The egg rolls were typical egg rolls for many Chinese type restaurant it probably got from Cisco. On the other hand the fried dumplings looks like they were made in the restaurant. The pork filling was tasty they were crisp flavorful and I really enjoyed them.

I enjoyed my time at Friend’s house I got the general tso’s chicken with fried rice and greatly enjoyed both the food and service. The decor was nice and the prices were reasonable.

Great food and reasonable price as always! We have been here for almost 3 years. Same nice owner. Fresh and tasty food. Chicken broccoli and Beef lo mein here are the best. We also like Mongolian beef, Shrimp garlic sauce, and even better with free General tso’s chicken with spending $35!!! And they give free sweet tea while waiting for the take out order. I have little kids so we don’t dine in and we have never had issues with our take out order. Little trick for taking out: bring the cooler to keep the food warm.

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, so that is still great. Due yo being short staffed, they no longer have waitress services. So if you eat in, you will get your food in to go containers and Styrofoam plates.

There’s a Good reason this neighborhood restaurant has maintained a great reputation and delicious entrees for almost 20-years. Friends House Chinese restaurant located near Kroger on Hamilton Mill and Ridge Road. I love to call and swing by to pickup lunch and dinner. Oh yeah, they deliver as well. I’ve been ordering from Friends House for many years years.

I just recently moved from NY to GA, and havent had Chinese food YET! I went here because its local, I ordered a lunch special, mushroom and broccoli w/ fried rice. My first time going here and had hair in my food. I am so disgusted. I cant take away from the service provided because the lady was friendly… but I am so sick to my stomach right now.

I’m not sure how this has such a high rating, but maybe I went on a bad day. I ordered the boneless spare ribs yesterday and it was the toughest, driest meat I’ve ever eaten other than beef jerky. The dinner portion size was SO small and the fried rice contains absolutely nothing, which I’ve never seen before. It wasn’t worth the price and I literally couldn’t continue eating it past a few bites even though I hadn’t eaten all day.
