First off, this isn’t your standard Mexican spot that has free chips & salsa (you can order these). However, they do provide chicharonnes (very similar to pork rinds) to snack on while waiting on your meal. Soooo yummy and so satisfying to crunch crunch crunch. Don’t expect to find a numbered menu here either because this isn’t that kinda place. Again, it’s authentic.
What did I get? I got an asada (steak) huarache. If you notice, it’s shaped similar to a sandal hence the name. It’s made out of masa dough and topped with beans, onion, cilantro, cotija cheese, and whatever meat you choose. I love that they actually seasoned the steak and tasted so fresh. It was gone before I knew it…
My friend got their Tex Mex that has grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp on top of rice and covered in cheese. She used the tortillas (they make those themselves) that came with this dish and made tacos out of it.
Such a charming little spot! I felt really comfortable here with the chill atmosphere. Super friendly staff too!

The food here was so good! Definitely recommend the Alambre Special Plate and the house margarita.

We went to lunch about 2:30 pm. We were the only people in there, the o n l y people. Had to request chips and salsa, they had a decent salary bar, though it’s not marked very well. Our server didn’t speak a lick of English, had to get someone else that works there to translate. The food was decent enough, with exception to the stale chips. Chicharrones were ok, those were first served, as usually chips n salsa usually are. Probably would not go back.

We eat here for lunch when we are working in Easley and this place is great! The food is fantastic and we have never been let down. This is where I discovered Birria tacos and they are amazing here!!

Restaurant responded to my review and offered to remedy the situation. I will give them another shot at it!!
Waaayyyy over priced and food not very good. Authentic atmosphere and great service but unfortunately will not be returning to this one!

Ok, not the best-looking place, I’ll admit… but! The street tacos here are so good! I had Pastor (chopped pork), Cochinita (pulled pork), and Suadero (marinated beef brisket). I can say each one of these was fantastic! It’s simple yet flavorful. Of course, there are plenty of other choices on their menu, but honestly, when I stop in again, I’ll be trying other versions of the tacos!

Authentic Mexican restaurant, finally!! Excellent nachos and margaritas, great service, and you get alot of food. My only downside is that they could fix up the tables, booths, and spruce up the atmosphere … it looks a little rough inside.

Friendly service, fair prices, and decently flavored food. Took a while to get our order, even though the place was not very busy. You do not get chips and salsa here, if that’s important, but they did give us chicharrones (I think that’s what they’re called), and multiple sauces , which were great with our meal.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food. Will definitely be back. I was already digging in before I remembered to take a photo. So excuse the messy plate. But a messy plate just means it is so good!
