The mar far chicken was good and the sweet and sour pork was decent, but several of the other dishes were lacking. They didn’t taste fresh and the crunchy noodles were actually really stale. The pink sauce is still great though.

After reading the mixed reviews we decided to give them a try last night. We ordered take out and were not provided with eating utensils. That was okay though, the hotel we were at provided some. The reason for my rating was the lack of flavor in the food. I’ve never had Chinese food with virtually no flavor. I do have to say the service was great. The lady that took our order and brought our food was very nice.

Unfortunately I’m unable to rate good as the woman hardly could understand me, we worked thru it:-), & timing was fairly late so with that in consideration I paid 31$ for 1 person, and my mar far chicken was hard crusted sauce was not sweet by far and the veggie medley was hardly steamed/ cooked. But my biggest concern is the diarrhea I got all night & into yesterday afternoon. 2

We haven’t been here in awhile, but had enjoyed eating here in the past. Not so this time. I ordered a #3 combination plate that had fried shrimp, chicken chow mien, and BBQ sweet & sour spareribs. The shrimp had a weird batter that tasted powdery, the chow mien was bland and flavorless even after adding soy sauce and salt and the ribs were very tough, but I did like the sweet & sour sauce. My husband’s pork chow mien and pork fried rice could have used some pork. Maybe it was just a bad night.

Very clean in and outside of restaurant. Food was served very quickly. Always made sure to offer drink refills (free) before we ran out of our drinks. An employee held the door open for my disabled dinner companion as we were exiting the restaurant and even opened his car door outside. Thank you for being so thoughtful and considerate.

Ordered by phone and after hanging up thought the total was a little steep ($75 for 5 people) so I called back and they had accidentally charged me twice for 1 item. Our order arrived quickly and after having to try to decipher what was what (as no boxes were labeled and the combination plates were all in small boxes, 1 type of food per small box) I realized that I did not get 1 item I had ordered. I called back and they had made a mistake when taking my order (I wanted chicken pan friend noodles, they put down chicken chow mein). BUT I was still made to pay the substitution price even though it was not my fault. It also arrived quickly. But there was no flavor besides burnt noodles and grill. Highly unimpressed and will not be eating from there again.

I know times are tough. I just wish I would have had an honest answer when I asked what was in the ‘Mars special rice’. Ended up getting some very interesting tasting cubed ham and salad shrimp fried rice.. I definitely would have ordered something different. Staff is always friendly and used to be a pretty quality place from what I remember. But this has definitely deterred me for the foreseeable future.

Easy to find with plenty of parking. Plenty of seating inside and very fast/friendly service. Varied menu with something for everyone. Good deals and combo meals for two or more available with plenty of options. Food is piping hot, tastes home made, and very fresh. This establishment is by far one of my favorites and if I’m ever in the area again, guaranteed that I’ll be back!

Good service and decent portions and flavor, served quick. The meals for two offer more than the usual deep fry and include a nice appetizer plate and rice. Hot tea included. Would go again to explore other menu items.
