First time coming in and had a few different tacos that were really good, I enjoyed the touch of cooked side onions on the side that was different. Their guacamole was also quite delicious.

Such a hidden gem! Perfect for what we were looking for. Prices were good & tasty. We liked the carnitas, chicken and Barbacoa tacos. Guac and pico de gallo were also good & fresh! Cute inside too and the staff was very nice. Tacos were done in about 10 mins (we had 10 ordered).

Moderate prices, very clean. Food was not the bomb but was acceptable for the price. Great to grab a bite while doing laundry.

We recently moved to the area from Chicagoland area. Up north you can get burritos as big as a football. This was a great find. Steak burrito was awesome. Plenty big enough to fill me up. Already dug into the guac before I took the picture. Chips were homemade. I think the guac is made to order. I’ve had a lot of Mexican food in my life. I’d say that guac is one of the tops. We were looking for a place close to our house. Glad we tried it. It’s going to be our I don’t feel like cooking stop!!

This is definitely a hidden gem. The food was great, the staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and you get plenty of food. We spent about $40 on dinner for two and we were both too full for dessert. I do think they should note on the menu that their Sangria is non-alcoholic though. Also, their Pico has a kick lol. It was delicious but if you don’t do spicy, watch out. We will absolutely be back.

Tacos San Miguel is a gem tucked into the corner of a sleepy strip mall. The service is friendly. The food is fresh and made well. The guacamole is chunky and fresh, but was too spicy for my tastes. The tortilla chips are made fresh. Several of my dining companions had the tongue tacos and raved about how tender and perfectly cooked the meat was. Don’t miss this great stop for authentic tacos.

Edit to add: I have been severely sick since I have eaten here. Absolutely do not recommend this place.
This is the 4th time I’ve tried Tacos San Miguel and every time I have a different opinion because it’s always seasoned either fantastic or it’s completely flavorless. This time it was half and half. I think I’m finally done trying them and I’ll be moving on to find a better place for tacos. I ordered the shredded beef taco, steak taco, fried pork taco and chicken taco along with a side of yellow rice and refried beans. To start, the chicken was alright. Didn’t knock my socks off, pretty basic. The fried pork was a tad bit better but had pieces that were so over fried, they were hard to eat. The steak taco was impossible to eat…it literally was so overcooked, I couldn’t even ripe a piece off. The piece I did get to eat was flavorless and tasted almost metallic. The shredded beef was the best one and had the most flavor. The red salsa was pretty flavorless and just spicy which was super odd but the green salsa had good flavor. The rice and beans? Meh. The yellow rice was hard and again, flavorless and I’ve never had more flavorless and overcooked refried beans in my life. Sadly, I could get better refried beans at Taco Bell. They do make good horchata, which is a plus.

It was our first time coming here. My coworker at Subaru of Ft. Myers recommended me this restaurant. The cust9mer service was great and the food delicious I ordered chorizo tacos and steak as well as their guacamole with chips. My husband and mother ordered the steak it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to everyone. Come with your family and kids.

My friends and I were looking for a nearby lunch option after finding out our first choice wouldn’t work. We found San Miguel via Google Search; it was directly across the road from where we were, and we were very hungry, so we made a beeline for it. San Miguel is located in a strip mall (same one as FK Your Diet), but is not visible from the street — it is beyond the visible storefronts, down an open-air walkway. There are no signs in the parking lot which might make it hard to find your way to the restaurant for some (like us). Being completely under cover probably allows the restaurant and its customers to help stay cool, however. We were fortunate to walk into a completely empty restaurant, so we had our choice of seating and were served instantly. The menu is fairly simple and straightforward, and there is no alcohol available. I usually like a beer with my Mexican food, so no alcohol was a bit of a downer for me. The lack of booze and signage to make the place easier to find are the only downsides for me. The menu has authentic Mexican options, as well as kids’ options. I opted for several different types of tacos (pictured), which are ordered a la carte. The food came out quickly. Each taco was delicious — I highly recommend the chorizo. Even the chicken taco was great — it takes a lot to impress me with chicken in a restaurant. My friends had some other options, all of which looked great and were reviewed favorably by them. Chips and pico are available as an appetizer — I can understand a smaller restaurant wanting to charge for this to help make their bottom line. The pico is made fresh and was very good. Our waiter was polite and attentive. I will be back to this hidden hole-in-the-wall gem to enjoy their excellent food and great service again.
