I tried the food at Taj Mahal and had a wonderful experience overall. The seating and atmosphere are very simple and modest, nothing fancy or over-the-top, but that honestly didn’t matter once the food arrived. The portions are extremely generous, easily enough to share, and the quality of the food is excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and authentic, with rich flavors that really stand out. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking❤️❤️
The service was also friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. If you’re visiting Miami and want delicious food at a great value, Taj Mahal is definitely worth a visit. Don’t judge it by the seating or décor—the food and portion sizes more than make up for it. You will absolutely love the food and leave very satisfied

The North Miami location of Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine serves authentic Indian flavors that will make you feel like you are having a warm family meal. The restaurant is very cozy, inviting you to feel relaxed. The menu has a variety of flavorful options depending on your dietary preferences and you can customize the heat/spicy level per plate. We ordered the shrimp biryani, mango curry chicken, chicken samosa, onion pakora, onion kulcha naan, and the kashmiri naan. Every plate was presented in a beautiful way, with large portions and generous sauce portions for everyone to share and enjoy. The staff are professional, kind, courteous and knowledgeable about their menu to provide recommendations.

Absolutely delicious. The butter chicken and chicken korma are rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan is soft, buttery, and impossible to stop eating. But the real surprise was the chicken fried rice — it’s honestly out of this world. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. We’ll definitely be back. I would share a photo, but we cleaned our plates before I thought of it.

Me and my friend decide to eat Indian food and we were craving for biryani etc.. we searched and found this restaurant opened until late, we ordered food over the food around 11:30pm and by the time we arriving they were already closed but they were waiting for us. We ate outside the restaurant on their table/ chairs. The lady who served us was so generous and nice she offered plenty cutleries, water to drink. Food was amazing, biryani was on the next level. Overall food was great and I highly recommend. Unfortunately didn’t take any pictures as we were so hungry, started eating as soon as food arrived.

Visited a couple weeks ago with family celebrating a cousin’s birthday and this was his choice for Indian food. I noticed that the restaurant was empty but they did have a trickle of food take out. We all ordered something different like butter chicken,curry, biryani (goat and chicken), tandoori (seafood mixed and chicken) and vegetable samosas for the table. The service was fast enough being that it was empty,I wish they had some sort of alcohol,wine or even beer which they didn’t. We all did soda and was surprised when I asked for some ice I was told they didn’t have ice, how does a restaurant not have ice? All in all the food wasn’t bad,the butter chicken was delicious and so was the naan bread but I’ve had a tad bit better samosas and tandoor. Biryani was meh, I took it home in the hopes of eating it and never did so that says a lot. Mint sauce tasted funny too, like acidic so don’t know if that’s the flavor or it was off.Its not a bad restaurant but it’s not a restaurant I’m dying to go to again..

This was the best Indian restaurant I have ever been and I have been to Indian restaurants all over the world. The food was just fabulous. The care was terrific and I wouldn’t eat in any other Indian restaurant ever again.
