Good:
1. AMAZING greeting and information when we came in.
2. They are extremely good with customer service and friendliness.
3. The place is VERY clean, they cleaned tables super quick.
4. The carne asada had a interesting smoky flavor which is a nice change, something different.
5. Pretty good food overall.
Cons: (Most not a big deal)
1. People are mentioning salsas, I didn’t see any except a spicy version near sodas. I got to have chips and salsa with my Mexican food, it is a MUST.
2. The sodas are all Mexican sodas, which for us it wasn’t too bad, but I can see some having issues with it
3. They only offer carne asada or chicken, which we would always do carne asada anyway so it wasn’t an issue, but again some obviously do have issues with this. (I would suggest them adding more, even if it is added to tradition)
4. A bit odd there was no rice offered
5. It is nice they have alchohol options, but a bit odd for us it more of a fast food setting… however we rarely drink anyway so maybe this is a big positive to some,
6. They offer sundaes, we didn’t try them, they seemed a bit expensive, but again it is a good option (if they are good)
Overall it was a great experience, the customer service and friendliness is TOP TEIR, it is what you wish every place had.
I ordered the #1 combo with an asada taco, asada tostada, and asada quesadilla with a drink — and every single bite was perfection. The carne asada was marinated beautifully and full of flavor, tender with just the right char. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they care about quality.
But the real standout? The green salsa. Hands down my new favorite in San Antonio — it adds the perfect kick and brightness to the tacos. The whole experience instantly took me back to eating street tacos on a cobblestone road in Isla Mujeres. That same authentic flavor, same freshness, same vibe — just incredible.
Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and vibrant with authentic touches. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do.
If you’ve been craving real-deal Mexican street tacos, this is the spot. Welcome to the U.S., Tacos on the Street — you’ve set the bar high for San Antonio.
The service is just as impressive as the food. Everyone here is so courteous, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and treated like family. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience, and that really makes a difference.
It’s not just a meal here — it’s an experience you’ll want to come back for again and again. Highly recommended! El señor Guillermo super amable tampoco dejó atrás a los demás trabajadores.
The tacos came with two fairly mild salsas – a creamy avocado salsa and a tomato salsa which were both great but I especially like the spicy one tucked away at the condiment bar. They also have a variety of drinks and cocktails and some delicious looking ice cream sundaes from Van Leeuwen which I’ll have to try next time : )
To be fair, they’ve only been open 3–4 days, so there’s room for improvement. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. One disappointment: the $8 sundae—sadly, Dairy Queen does it better (not saying much)
Overall, underwhelming for now, but with some fine-tuning, they could really make this concept shine and be a great place for tacos on the street.
The meat is perfectly tender and flavorful without being chewy.
A great addition to the Stone Oak area of SA!
