The food and drinks here were absolutely incredible, I would have had several more drinks/appetizers if given the opportunity though- just didn’t see the server enough to ask. Everyone was perfectly nice just needed more opportunities to order something else!

We came here based off a TikTok review. Good atmosphere, clean. The food was good without a doubt, very good taste. As this was our first time, i’m not sure if they’re normally as busy as they were. They brought out our daughters food, and then we didn’t get any food. I’m assuming it was the manager who came by and said are you guys still waiting on food? We told him we were waiting on a seafood boil, pretty sure, he grabbed the first one that was up. However, it was not the one we had actually ordered. So I would say, definitely room for improvement. My drink didn’t come out until I was done eating. Again, even though there were a few hiccups, I would recommend eating here and we will probably try it again.

The food was good, but the sauce on my shrimp was a bit salty. Big portion but the price is for two people too. The food I ordered was $28 and we spent $67 for two meals and one Modelos plus 20 percent tips. They gave fried corn tortilla instead of chips and the red sauce was so spicy. They have so many foods on the menu. Worth trying. We will come back to try the other foods.

The best food here is the sea food, a bit over price, but delicious. My favorite was the shrimp pasta. The ambience is a total vibe they have an actual live band playing . The service was good just very slow maybe because there’s too many people and so little servers. If you go just know you will be waiting a while for food. Is good to go with a group of friends and talk and hangout while food gets served. The drinks were serve pretty fast.

Drinks were really good, food was good too. However!! I ordered a ribeye..and looks like I was provided a sirloin! Service was a little on the slow side. We ordered 130.00 worth of food..Mussels, queso, etc.. will be back..if can get the steak i paid for next time and service not so slow!

My girlfriends and I went there, because it was recommended. The restaurant was nice and the food when we finally got it was good as well. The service was horrible. Will not go back!

I have been going to Mariscos El Vienon for some years, back to when they had a different name. I’ve taken guests. I’ve never had a bad meal there. My favorite is the Piña Rellena.

That said, I’ve skimmed the negative reviews. Other than a complaint about the food being bad (mentioned above, always been good) I have experienced almost all the other complaints. So far:

* I have been ignored for great lengths of time
* Seen my waitress behind the counter on her phone while I’ve been trying to get her attention for a long time
* Sat at the far end of the restaurant (at least 200 feet) and you still can’t talk of the Mariachi band.
* In front of the stage is like being at a 1960s Who concert when the band is there.
* Probably the worst was the time my son and I were there in line to be seated… without his Hispanic wife. While I can speak some Spanish, I’m very clearly not Hispanic. We got deliberately ignored in lieu of other pairs of people in line. It wasn’t until he was about to seat another Hispanic couple that they fussed that we were there before them. He grudgingly seated us next.

That said, their big problem seems to be training. I have an Outback I visit regularly and I know the manager. She teaches her staff well and it shows. I see regular waiters and waitress in the places I frequent. I have not seen a single familiar face on return visits (not counting the mariachi band). And very often I get a waitress who speaks little or no English. While the restaurant businesses generally have very transient staff. But I’m guessing Mariscos has it worse then normal. So less trained staff on a regular basis.
