BACK TO THE FUNDAMENTALS OF MEXICAN CUISINE — Established in 2019, Tacos Godoy is a family-owned food truck that specializes in traditional Mexican guisados, which are stewed or braised dishes made from fresh ingredients, and served on a fresh corn tortilla. Based in the Little Rock area, owner Alejandro Gutierrez brings tacos and recipes that he and his family have enjoyed and perfected over the years, just like our mother Sabina. We make each corn tortilla by hand using freshly ground nixtamalized corn and prepare each dish from scratch. We look forward to sharing our love, passion and comida casera with you. ¡Buen Provecho!

Quesabirria tacos were awesome. I decided to try this restaurant due to the popular reviews. And they were not wrong! I am not from the area but they were Some of the best Quesabirria tacos that I have ever tried. When traveling i look for new tacos places and this place is Definitely worth a try if your in the area.

Wife and I googled best Al pastor in Little Rock. We took the bait, and wow I am glad we did. It was the friendliest atmosphere I have experienced at a restaurant in many years. As for the food we sampled 6 different tacos and a quesadillas. If you want authentic Mexican flavored meats this is your place. We both loved it all. Thanks again will be back.

I really need to start keeping some taco sauce packets in the car. The carne asada burrito I had tonight was pretty good but just needed some sort of sauce. I think they may put some in there but I could’ve used more. The burrito was assembled well and didn’t fall apart during consumption but was also a bit overpriced for it’s size.
I also had an asada taco which was tasty as well.

had the birria torta and the quesabirria. both were absolutely fantastic. got churros to take home and let’s just say it’s a good thing for my waistline and my bank account that I don’t live in little rock. hands down the best churros we’ve ever had. red salsa could use a little salt. we’ve had some good meals in little rock and this right up there with the best of them.

If you want good food this is your spot, but if you care about the service provided go elsewhere. I usually order 3 quesabirria with extra meat, and the food itself is consistently good. However, the service is where things fall short, and it’s the main reason I’ve gone from being a loyal customer who came 2–3 times a week to someone who now only visits maybe twice a month.
Today, I called in to place my usual order and asked about the Taco Tuesday deal. The last time I ordered on a Tuesday, I was given an extra quesabirria at no charge as part of the promotion. But this time, I was told the deal only applies in the afternoon. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and their Facebook page simply says you get an extra quesabirria for Taco Tuesday, no mention of a time restriction.
I don’t mind if there are limits or specific hours for deals, but it needs to be communicated clearly and consistently. The lack of consistency in both service and policy is frustrating, especially for returning customers. I genuinely enjoy the food, but I just wish the overall experience matched the quality of the quesabirria.
I did speak with the lady in restaurant, I believe she is a manager but she stood on their policy of only giving the deal in the afternoon.

Very good loved the sopa and birria tacos and the rice was delicious as well. Family atmosphere . Staff has a great vibe! I’m from out of town and I felt so welcomed coming in I will come back here every time I’m here to visit!

The food was excellent with the best customer service which made for a great first experience. The asada was my favorite of the tacos selected. I loved the refried beans and the tortillas tasted home made. Definitely recommend this charming welcoming spot!

Love this food truck and now they have a restaurant too!! Amazing food owned and run by an amazing family that cares about what they serve!!! Fresh ingredients, quality meat choices and nice flavor profile results in some awesome tacos, (which I added a photo of) nachos, and quesadillas. Update!! The torta sandwich with chopped steak is absolutely delicious and the size of 2 hamburgers!!
