I went to Tacocat and ordered a baja grouper taco. My boyfriend had steak nachos & we both drank a Jarritos soda. Service was friendly and fast. The food came out quickly as well. It was delicious! The crispy grouper was nice and crunchy without being heavy and each ingredient complemented each other well.

This place was so good! I searched on google for a place to eat near Lucy the Elephant after a visit but most places were closed or out of business. I Came across this place but didn’t see many reviews. The few pictures I did see did not do justice to how magnificent food was. Everyone was super nice, the atmosphere was perfect. You will not be disappointed!! Strongly recommend the loaded fries if you are unsure what to order.

We are visitors to the area and were looking for a not-to-expensive dinner. I found Taco Cat during a google search and am so glad I did. I had 3 soft tacos-octopus, chicken and mahi- and they were the best tacos I’ve ever eaten! No iceberg lettuce and diced tomatoes- really interesting and nuanced flavors! LOVED them. My husband had a chicken burrito and says it was good. I say come early, grab a seat in the shade, and get tacos!

All of the food was great, but the pork was a bit on the dry side. I would heavily recommend the fish tacos.

It’s a challenge to find really good quality food in 08402 and surrounding. TACOCAT not only serves some of the best food in the area, their tacos are undeniably the best I have ever had. The staff was friendly and the service prompt. They do a hell of a job busting entitled line-jumpers as well! Bravo, TACOCAT! You got it SO right.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Margate! They have a robust menu with options for everyone including your vegetarian friends!! The Brussel sprouts & Jack Fruit Carnitas are so flavorful and great for sharing! If you’re there (and not vegetarian) ask for the Fat Fries, they are smothered with damn near everything on the menu and a spicy honey drizzle that I literally can’t get enough of. They should bottle and sell it asap!

I’m a simple girl with simple taste, so the Americana Taco is always my favorite! I just don’t like the fact that they aren’t open on Mondays during the peak season. I guess everyone needs a break at this time though!

on paper it should be excellent, in reality the food was astoundingly bland and overcooked. head to taqueria rendon in northfield if you want flavorful tacos and generous portions.

I’m from PA but I also own a shore house in Ventnor NJ right up the road from you & there most of the summer 3 weeks out of all the summer months & 1 week to 10 days maybe 2 weeks in some cases for all the off season months. I was at TacocaT Margate & always had some very great food & service from you. & you all earned 5 stars from me. THE BEST OF THE BEST TACOS IN NJ. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tacos al pastor are NOT traditional, no cilantro and it’s shredded pork, not cut from a trompo, not diced, not ribbons…SHREDDED. It was very disappointing. I’ve never had al pastor served like pulled pork. The steak was okay but they put this avocado cream sauce on it. It’s not crema fresca, it’s not even sour cream. Edible, but I had higher expectations. And the salsa was not Pico de Gallo, it had a smoky ancho flavor. Maybe somebody likes ancho pepper salsa but I do not. Straight in the trash. Same with the street corn, I was expecting it to be on a stick with crema and cotija, chile powder, some mayo and a lime. It was a bowl of corn already off the cob, the same ancho flavor was throughout it and that avocado cream sauce on top. If you’re used to authentic, this is not it…it was the Wish version of Mexican food. It’s like ordering pork roll and them giving you Canadian bacon. It was quick and the kids were friendly but I’d opt for pizza next time.
