This spot is right next to the hospital. It’s convenient and delightful if you are on a budget for tacos. The tacos are somewhat good. They’re sauce is good (which makes up for it). You have to be careful when buying sign says “1.60 tacos for chicken and carnitas, Mon-Thurs.” However menu inside reflects pricing differently. It is clean. For some pricey tacos and food I could Def get more meat in them and my breakfast burritos. I also got an atole, which was good until I started getting huge clumps of doe like texture, over all taste on that I would say a 2. It’s like they were making atole mixed with Champurrado.

You truly have to try this place. I got 4 tacos de asada and sampled the salsa bar of 5 of their 8-10 salsas.

Rojo Molchajete, If you follow my adventures I love Molchajetes, so I was excited to try this. First bite impression: I was instantly taken back to a beach town just west of Jalisco MX. Never have I had a salsa that tasted more authenticly Mexico as this. No joke, no over hype, get here to try this and be blown away by how fresh and rich this one is.
Green habanero, we know how these all taste pretty much the same everywhere… WOW just a hint of sweet and lime. BAM winner, tied for my favorite and literally the best green habanero I’ve ever had.
Red Peanut, this is their hottest and it did not disappoint. This isn’t “Colorado hot” it’s an intense creamy burn with lots of flavor with a hint of sweet and salty. Very unique and delicious. Imagine a super spicy thin Thai peanut sauce with rich powerful heat and flavor.
Green Molchajete, lots of bite and lime and thick chunky consistency. Really good, but can’t come close to the red.
Tacos were perfection and full to the brim with meat. I’ll be back A LOT.
They have a large menu on the walls with great prices and you order at the counter and find a seat on the porch or takeout. I went for the porch in the warm sun ☀️

I’ve enjoyed the food every time. Salsa bar is pretty good.
Parking lot is rough.
Packaging was Styrofoam. Not my favorite. My casadillas would have been just as good wrapped in foil.
Its a good quick lunch when I am at the university.

Found this great little hole-in-the-wall today! While there was a small mix-up with our order, the owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make things right. It’s rare to find a spot that takes such personal pride in their service. The tacos and pozole were delicious and definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a local spot that truly cares about its customers. We will be back.

Food is excellent. The neighborhood is rough, parking lot is small, and very little seating. This is more of a take-away spot. The food is worth it; very near Children’s hospital, so super convenient.

Ordered from here recently and the food was pretty dang meh. Not the gross kind of meh but definitely the “this isn’t good” kind. Food had very little seasoning and flavor and all of the meat was super dry and overdone.

Best tacos and burrito I’ve ever had. You should go and dine in to enjoy the experience. They have a transparent kitchen where you can see how they make it, and it’s awesome!! Unbelievable food for an unbeatable price!! Try the el pastor tacos if you’ve never had one!

The food was okay, didn’t have too much flavor. The rice was horrible it was too salty and dry and the beans were pretty good just tasted like beans with not much else. I would only come here again if I can’t find another place that sells gortitas nearby. 5/10.
