Now known as Ora Lee’s Kitchen, the owner, Ethel, renamed this little road side Cafe after her mom. She’s been in business in this little building for seven years and her server, Tina, has been here since the beginning. Located in Gresham, SC on hwy 378… the building has been here since 1948 and is a cute, old school place that just has simple charm. The food!! Ethel sources her produce and meats locally. You’re talking farm to table dining and it is delicious !!! I had what I was thinking was going to be your ruin of the mill “all meat omelet”… boy was I mistaken! This was(see empty plate) the absolute best omelet I’ve ever had. No joking, blame it on the meat or maybe the grilled onions I requested or maybe just the freshness of the food. I don’t know but I loved the grits as well, creamy and smooth, only added a tiny amount of salt… they were perfect. And you know, we all want to know what did this wonderful breakfast, complete with coffee, omelet, grits, toast and a to go coffee cost…$11.00!! Are you kidding me?? Definitely have a go for yourselves and tell your friends! Let’s make this little diamond in the rough famous! Ethel needs a new roof, let’s make that happen. Tina and Ethel, I’m glad I stopped in. Thank you both.

Excellent food. The service is good. The owner Ms. Ethel is a nice person. The prices are inexpensive and a family of 4 could easily eat there for $20-30. Please remember to tip the high school waitresses and the young cooks as they are trying to make a living. After all the owner makes tipping easy because the prices are so affordable.

I eat out a lot and I have to say that the food, service, and price were all 100% wonderful!! The lunch special was so fantastic that I bought one to go!! I go in that direction 2 times a week and can not wait until I can stop and eat there again!!

I was a little sceptical at first but the staff was very friendly and welcoming it gave me a since of a small town cafe. The young lady who served us was very attentive. The food was great for the price my only complaint was that my grits weren’t as hot as I would have liked other than that it was a really pleasant experience.

We stopped to go to the bathroom and maybe get something. This places had smell gross. The bathroom was awful and the owner had just left the bathroom and she didn’t bother to make sure she flushed well. The only reason I didn’t leave is because I was holding it in for several miles. But never again. I would rather stop on the side of the road…lol
