Went in for dinner last night and got a taco platter. I got a classic beef taco that was kind of similar to Taco Bell but with better ingredients. It was edible but not really memorable. My second taco was The Mayor which was a bland chicken taco. Again edible but nothing really special. My side item was street corn and this was really bad. It was overpowered with lime and cilantro and almost no mayonnaise like street corn should be. This was difficult to eat and I didn’t eat much. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. Light delicious chips and a fantastic salsa. I ate all of that and put some salsa on the chicken taco to give it some flavor. The staff were excellent and very helpful and had no complaints with them. The atmosphere is awesome except the patio area kind of smelled like urine. We were gonna eat out there but decided to go to our room. I wouldn’t go back but I wouldn’t discourage someone from giving it a try. Lots of people seem to like it. I just found it kind of bland.

These tacos made me somewhat of a sad mama. I ordered the ahi tuna-si taco, and the justice is served grilled shrimp taco. I ordered them to go, which may have been part of their failing, but I ate them ten minutes later, and they were quite cold already. They were also just very thin and limpy. I think there were three medium-sized shrimp in the shrimp taco, which just doesn’t cut it for a $7.50 taco. The flavor was good, though. The tuna also had good flavor, but the quality of the fish was iffy. The chips also missed the mark, and seemed somewhat stale. The salsa was good and spicy, the quacamole was just okay, and the slaw wasn’t a favorite. I finished my food and my stomach is not satisfied. Ultimately very disappointed in an expensive taco that tasted far worse than tacos I can get for less than $4 elsewhere.

Most delicious tacos and watermelon margarita I have ever had! Service was quick despite the line, atmosphere was energetic and spot on. Will definitely be making this a must-go-to stop every time I come through town.

Taco Mama is absolutely fantastic! Love the service, the staff are so friendly and amazing. The atmosphere is amazing with great music taste, and the food is soo yummy. We actually had this place twice in a row because it’s just so delicious and well reasonably priced. Why go to the cafeteria when you can get way better food for cheaper! They aren’t shy about the amount of food they give you too. Can’t wait to come back here again!

The chorizo tacos are delicious! I was in town for a week and had the chorizo tacos on two nights. Mi Casa margaritas are tasty. The service was great both visits. There may be a line out the door, but they turn the food and drinks out quickly. There is seating inside as well as outside along the street.

Often go here when we decide to eat out for lunch. It’s within walking distance and it’s quick along with a reasonable price. There is a wide menu here and you should have no problem finding something you like. Fish tacos, chicken or steak burritos and tacos, you can also get the burritos as a bowl! They have a full bar! And all kinds of FREE add ons! I have never had bad service while dining in and have always been greeted with a smile. They have many people walking around the restaurant to help people with what they may need. For example, help with the menu while in line, trash taken away, refills, additional items, etc. The food has always tasted good and haven’t had a bad side item there. However, I have had on multiple occasions my order was wrong. So watch out for that. They are always quick to fix it and try to do their best to make it right. Other than that it’s a great option in this part of town.

This Taco place transports you into a different vibe as soon as you enter — with its dim lit chic decor and lively atmosphere. There was a long line even late into the afternoon on Sunday, which for me, is a good sign when I visit a place for the first time.

Everything about Taco Mama is a 10/10!!! Actually on a scale of 1-10 they BREAK the scale. This restaurant is so reasonably priced for what you get. Quesadilla cost about $12-13 and you get as many toppings as you want for free.

The experience at Taco Mama was one of a kind I have never been to a Taco place so kind and generous, When my Friends and I walk through the door we had been greeted by an employee who asked “is it your first time here” to which we replied yes and she handed us a menu. We looked through the menu and decided to order two of ‘The judge’s’ & one of the ‘yo momma’ They were incredible we also got a side to which I got black beans. The only thing that I would complain about is that it doesn’t come with a drink, But other than that everything else is good. It’s also very convenient because there’s a bus stop right infront of the restaurant. So it’s easy transportation. Go here and experience the nostalgic vibes and this place is very family friendly. There’s also outdoor seating available. I will be back.
