Rest of the fam had dinner without me so I needed to pick up something yummy on the way home. Cue Taco Inn by 70th & O street.
Veggie Burrito, no tomatoes or onions, extra olives. There’s a charge for the addition but when my fatty Burrito weighs 10.2 lbs it’s totally cool.
Potato Things with both Ranch and Cheese sauce. Don’t ask why, just trust . Alternating or double dipping are both acceptable. I had a bit leftover for a late night snack!!!

Nacho supreme is the best!! Very filling! Real cheese, onions and jalapenos on the side. Choice of corn or flour chips or both. Best fast food Mexican restaurant in Lincoln

We’ve gone here consistently and last time when we were here, it was awful. It did not have much of anything with the food especially the nachos did not have hardly any cheese meat. Nothing with it. It was disappointing. Usually, it’s phenomenal that time and I don’t think next time we’ll go to this location, unfortunately Usually is a good location. Very disappointing.

I was always an Amigos person just because that’s where I went as a kid and where I continued to go as an adult, but I decided to try out Taco Inn recently… and I was won over!
I’m not sure exactly why, but the food and the service just seemed higher quality… and everything was clean! (bathroom, lobby, etc.)
I ordered the BBQ chicken nachos and a soft shell taco. For a fast food place, the nachos seemed a little pricey at $8.50, but the portion size was BIG. I’m a big eater, and it filled me. And the toppings seemed pretty fresh. I barely had room for the soft taco, but I made it happen.
The texture of the soft taco was surprisingly pleasant. I didn’t know a soft taco could be so differentiated at a tex-mex place, but I could see myself going back and just ordering several soft tacos for a meal.
I’ve heard the salsa is good, so I’ll have to try that out next time.

I am born and raised Nebraskan but moved many years ago, when I come home this is one of my must haves!! I have yet to have any bad customer service or food. The restaurant was clean and staff that was cleaning were nice enough to not clean too close to us while eating. The food tastes just the same as it did years ago. Great experience.

We had just driven from Denver to Lincoln, we were tired, and we wanted to find good and inexpensive food nearby. We noticed that this restaurant was right next to our hotel. Tacos sounded good, so we checked the great reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. We were very glad that we did. Everything we ordered tasted great and was a great value. We will definitely stop there whenever we travel between Minnesota and Colorado.

The only taco inn (or restaurant that I know of) that offers limeade. The stuffs super green but it’s the best refresher on a hot summer day. They have both diet and regular and offer a discount on refills if you bring your own cup.
