I’m in love ❤️ I love the shrimp tacos at Taco Empire, I have been to upscale restaurants in Las Vegas and that was 1/2 the size of these tacos and twice or triple the price. The best gourmet tacos, clean, flavorful, authentic Mexican cuisine by far. I’m happy to pay and experience exquisite food and will travel from the Southside to the Northside for Taco Empire Shrimp Tacos. All the food is obviously delishus and affordable. Suuuper tasty and fresh tacos! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. I tried the steak, adobado, and pastor. The green sauce is very good, and the other sauce is kind of on the sweet and mild side, but it’s very tasty. Carefully packed away to go, I appreciated the presentation. Looking forward to trying more!

This place is very expensive compared to variety of Mexican food truck nearby. At the time of our visit, the place was not busy. There was plenty of parking nearby. I did not find the food to be that good. Everything we got was very salty. I am not a fan of this food truck, and would recommend other food truck nearby, such as Taqueria El Rincon two blocks away. One thing that this place has over other Mexican food truck nearby is that they accept credit card, while other places only take cash.

⚠️ The only reason I came here is because they have Quesabirria on their menu item, and I know I’m not the only one that has traveled here for the Quesabirria, but it’s not worth it. Their Quesabirria tacos are on the smaller side; three mini tacos are $12, which is not worth it. (can you say street taco size? Their tacos are the same size as the consommé sauce lid-small) Their consommé sauce was very bland. There was another small dipping sauce in the to-go box, but even when mixing both sauces, the flavor was still lacking. And when it comes to the meat, they were very stingy. I had more onions and cilantro than meat. Please save your money and go down the street. There are two other taco trucks in the area now they don’t sell Quesabirria, but I guarantee you they serve their food with nice portion sizes of meat, and it is well-seasoned. Plus, every bite you take out of your taco will be worth the money.

Drove by one day when I was working seen a crowd of people so I didn’t stop by. Drove by a few weeks later a little later in the day and seemed like the wait was more manageable so I decided to stop. I ordered a carne asada torta and a tacos both were on point and the salsa they give you with the torta pairs perfect! Went there again just recently and started talking with the owner turns out we lived about 5 min away in a whole state, cool dude and they make some bomb food. Can’t wait for his store to open up by my house!

This is now my favorite Birria spot in OKC! The broth had a great depth of flavor. I’ll definitely be back to try the shrimp tacos. Clean, friendly, flavorful. I thought $12 for 3 tacos, broth, salsa, a sample of the potatoes and a lime was absolutely reasonable.

Presentation was beautiful and the flavor popped as great as presentation, overall very clean, friendly, professional, courteous, quick. Definitely ignited all my taste buds. Fresh veggies. What a wonderful experience I’ll be back! I’m a food junkie and love different twists. They put a new spin on the already well known normal taco trucks. This is several steps up on any of the other taco trucks I’ve experienced. Super impressed. The truck was super clean looking inside so I didn’t have to stress the old contamination or uncleanliness possible tummy troubles that is associated with the other yucky environments I’ve seen. I don’t like writing reviews in fact it’s rare. But hey I was impressed with every angle! Great job guys keeping the community fresh, clean, with a burst of happiness to my taste buds. I’m new to the area so bravo what a delivery! Happy dance! I was worried about the price but honestly the experience covered my worries and the taste was worth the Buck. Honestly what isn’t pricey anymore due to inflation. The quality of even the Togo boxes… you can see where the money needs to go. So fair in pricing guys! Fair when you add in all the components! Bravo
