At which point I turned around and drove back to the restaurant and went inside to address my disappointment with the quality of their product. After showing them my documentation, they completely ignored my documentation, denied my issue and claimed the burrito had the proper amount of both nacho and cheddar cheese. Even when I told them how dissatisfied I was with the way their product and how they handled my complaint, they simply just didn’t care and wasn’t interested at al,l about trying to make any of it right.
The customer service at the Tualatin Taco Bell was grossly negligent. Taco Bell needs to care about the product they put out AND how their employees interact with their patrons.
Late evening out at a show, need a snacky snack before heading home. Roll on into the Taco Bell for a taco with the lady.
The line isn’t long in the drive through so we go to order. They are out of green sauce, so no green bean burrito, that’s strike one.
They don’t make a gordita any more, offered us a chalupa in lieu, apparently that’s fried, no thanks, that’s strike two…
We complete our order and ask for “a lot” of hot sauce. I see on the order board “8 hot sauce” and I figured that would be enough. After the 8 minute drive home, we open the bag and there are five, count them, f.i.v.e 5 mild sauces in the bag. Is that “a lot?” Maybe to someone with none it’s “more” but not a lot… Is it hot sauce? Nay! I say, Nay… it is neither “a lot” or “hot sauce.”
I managed to subsidize the paltry helping of mild sauce that is almost ketchup with some packets from a prior Taco Bell visit in my “packet drawer” in my home kitchen. You all know the packet drawer, it’s the one next to the “junk drawer” above the “door that holds “the small appliances my spouse uses once every 5 years just to prove to to me we really needed it, and still needed it so don’t donate it.” So in the end, the Taco Bell night was not lost.
Good, quick, happy service, we got a smile from the girl in the drive through.
Not related to the rudeness, the tables and booths have been replaced with toddler furniture. It was bizarre. ???
Staff was delightfully cheery, and presented me my beloved Wrap in a way that made it taste a little finer.
Laying comfortably on the “basic-to-bare-bones” scale.
