I wondered in a bit confused. A highly rated Mexican Restaurant at the Norm’s restaurant. Turns out they share the location. American food in the AM and Mexican food at night!
I ordered a plain old chicken burrito. It was good, though a but heavy on the beans. It tasted good though. The salsas were great.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I think I’ve found a new favorite.

I’m blown away at the service, quality, and responsiveness of Taco Azteca. I called asking if they would be able to cater for a 40+ person office party and they were more than accommodating. Jay helped us out with pricing, ordering, and even delivery! The tacos were amazing and the perfect amount for our party. Everyone raved on the taste and the thought that went into the order (utensils, plates, toppings included). We will definitely be coming back for future orders! Thanks so much!!

seriously something really off with the beans like edible . i’ve never actively complained about beans they tastes actually disgusting and flavorless. rice was slightly better could get through with hot sucks . tacos mediocore nothing special nothing horrible but la ke’s flavor- but edible there’s way better places to get tacos in burbank alone. i’d WAY rather hit the taco truck on magnolia especially if you want something open a little later.

So; I went and got dinner at Taco Aztec tonight.. Umm, I noticed they had a different crew on the weekends, the food lacked it’s flavor that it had when I went during the weekday. This time I got a carne asada burrito and it had more beans than meat and it didn’t have any flavor. I’m going to have to go back during the week and try it again. Hopefully, it won’t be the crew from the weekend.

Tacos are great but small. You probably want twice as many as you were thinking. The salsas are Super Tasty! They are mild. The red might almost be a medium. If you were wanting some heat you aren’t gonna get it here. The salsas are of very very good flavor. The burrito is very good size and good value for the price. Lots of rice inside but at least its cooked right. The meat portion is good and the beans onion and etc. are done right. I had the Asada and the Carnitas and they were great. They could have used a little salt but they are great with either of those top notch salsas.

I rarely write reviews but had to for this lil mom and pop shop to thrive because this is now my go to spot for some delicious tacos! My favorites are carne asada, pollo, and lengua all tender and juicy. Verde salsa has a nice kick without being too spicy. The shrimp cocktail was also surprisingly really good!

Yes!! No need to drive out of the way for some authentic Mexican tacos and burritos! What a gem in Burbank. Brought carne asada fries and nachos to a potluck and it was a BIG hit. My personal go to order is the carne asada burrito with the red salsa (has a nice kick). Even my picky boys ask to go weekly! I usually order them carne asada burrito with only meat and rice, quesadilla, or their soft/fatty buche (beef cheek) tacos with extra lime. They have attentive staff and plenty of outdoor seating area.
