Atmosphere: this is going to be your best view of the horseshoe falls on Canada side, if you get the window tables. Atmosphere was cozy, no live music or other add ons though. But of you sit at the main floor, you are not going to get the best views. And to be honest, you are going here for mostly the view.
Food: we ordered the crab cakes, chicken and short ribs. The food was at about average or below that. The cook on the meat were ok, but it was no were close to the quality for the price you pay. If I pay 51$ for a short rib, that better be “delicious”. But unfortunately it was very bland. Same goes for the chicken and the appetizers.
In short the food you get is about the same as any other average restaurant, but you pay about 50% more because it’s so close to the falls.
Side note: the quality of the restaurant is based on the whole package. The washrooms on this one was like a standard street restaurant and was not the premium feel that you usually get with these high end restaurants.
I don’t remember what drinks were – I am sure about the local crafted beer which was very good.
The food was tasty, but not at the level of expectations. The fried appetizer was a bit too oily – I think they were crab cakes whose sauce was compensating for the fat but not enough (I visited in September so I don’t remember fully). The cauliflower was good, and I also ate my husband’s veggies – all perfectly cooked.
For dessert I had an amazing cheesecake with maple syrup and pecans. A truly local sourced dessert.
Overall the experience was nice but for a maximum enjoyment I recommend to make reservations by the windows.
Absolutely Incredible. Floor-To-Ceiling Windows With Direct Views Of Niagara Falls Make This A Memorable Dining Experience. You’re Paying For The Atmosphere and The Scenery… It’s 10000% Worth It.✨
SALMON
Cooked Just Right… Tender, Flaky, Crispy Edges & Nicely Seasoned Without Being Overpowered. Simple, Clean Flavors That Let The Quality Of The Fish Shine. I Asked For a Side Of Chimichurri Sauce Which Elevated The Flavor.
MASHED POTATOES
Creamy, Smooth, & Comforting. They Paired Perfectly With The Salmon & Rounded Out The Plate Well.
CARROTS
Tender With A Light Natural Sweetness, Adding A Nice Balance To The Meal. Made Perfect to Me.
FRUITY ARNOLD PALMER
Refreshing, Crisp, & Not Too Sweet…. A Perfect Choice While Taking In The Views.
Very Reasonably Priced Considering The Location, Portions, & Unmatched Views. You’re Not Overpaying Just For The View, Which Is Always Appreciated.
Customer Service Was Amazing & Pleasant. Waitress Was Kind, Patient & Went Above & Beyond By Customizing My Meal As Requested Along With Fixing My Childs Meal. We Were Blessed For Her Beautiful Experience.✨
Good Food, Fair Pricing, And One Of The Best Views You’ll Find In Niagara Falls. This Is Absolutely A Must-Go Spot When Visiting…. Even If It’s Just For 1 Meal.
We had the fixed menu: soup of the day, short ribs (a bit salty for my taste, but very tender and full of flavor), and pecan cheesecake for dessert. Service was friendly and attentive.
If you’re coming on a weekend or holiday, plan ahead, there was a lot of traffic getting into the parking lot. Parking is $35, but the restaurant will waive it with ticket validation, just ask.
Expect to pay a minimum of around $250 for two.
They have a souvenir shop at the main floor. You might want to put aside some
time if you are shopping for
souvenirs as they have great stuff!
We shared the 3 course meal and it was plenty for us both.
The chicken cream soup, the Canadian 12oz sirloin, buffalo cheese wedge salad all excellent!!
The only thing we didn’t really like was the tiramisu cake.
Drink: Cuveé sparkling wine & carbaret saugvinon red wine.
The space, the food, and the drinks are totally amazing and worth the price. I return to the restaurant twice, not only because of the wonderful view but also because of the Ice Wine from Inniskillin. The taste made me addicted to it .
I went there 1st time for lunch, ordered a medium-rare steak, the beef was perfectly made, and came with a side of French fries. My friend got a chicken supreme, which was tasty with the sauce all around, and the chicken was cooked enough, not too dry.
Will return for the third time when I have a special occasion.
