Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, Table is a small, seasonal, New American restaurant from two-time James Beard Award nominee Chef Jacob Sessoms and his team at Perfectly Ad Hoc, restaurant group. Since 2005, Table has established itself in Asheville’s culinary scene for a menu based on American culinary traditions paying particular homage to the Southeast and celebrating long-standing relationships with local farmers and artisans.

The outdoor environment was beautiful and peaceful, a great date experience with lights hanging from above. The staff, Stewart and Kareem were amazing! They have plenty of options of food and the beef kabobs were fantastic! The NY strip was perfectly cooked to the requested temperature and seasoned fantastically, the side of potatoes were delicious! Give this restaurant a try! The food, staff and environment won’t disappoint!

Definitely the food at this place is of high quality. Everything we ordered was very nicely prepared by someone that seems to be a very experienced chef. This is definitely not a good place for ordering beer. Draft beer comes in small glasses and the quality seemed poor to me. The wine list is interesting but there is nothing worth drinking below about $70. So, this is a mixed review because the beverages were not satisfactory but the food was very good. It is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area in general but the appearance from the street is deceiving.

Our waiter was a bit of a goof, but we liked him. Starters and mains were great. Drinks are balanced. Desserts were a miss.. Recommend placing a reservation. Parking is an act of God and you are either worthy or forsaken.

Great date night restaurant. Love the bread and cocktails. Also ordered half a portion of rabbit pasta but forgot to take a photo of it. I would recommend the mushroom pasta over the rabbit as we only found 2 small pieces of rabbit meat in the bowl, but unsure how much they will give for the full portion. The steak tartare is a little salty but very good. Overall, great service, great environment, and good food.

An excellent meal if I were paying $40, but for their price point, I certainly was disappointed. Uninspired meals overall. Flavors were lacking, atmosphere was average as were the drinks. The wings from the bar were actually the best part of the meal – I would get those again.
