I love South Indian cuisine and this place does a good job as far as food goes. Been here multiple times. However, the customer service is below average. No communication between the servers. There is one older gentleman who is much nicer than the others and actually talks to you. The others just stand there and stare at you. Just awkward vibes.

Certainly one of the Top 3 best Indian restaurants in Greensboro, conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from our office. I try a different dish with each visit, but for this review, I’m highlighting the Navaratan korma. Give it a try – you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered Samosas, madras chicken curry and murgh tikka. My favourites were Madras curry and samosas. Madras curry was so flavourful and the samosas were perfectly cooked not oily. Got complimentary dal which was delicious (just a little too much of turmeric but you get to taste fresh ginger in it which was refreshing) plus, didn’t wait a long time for my food.

HORRIBLE experience… I was so disappointed with my first ever time trying Indian cuisine with Taaza Bistro. The customer service deserves a 0 honestly. We had a girls lunch here and waited over an hour to be served. We asked for things that never made it to our table. We had to honestly get up and almost walk out in order for them to even consider checking on the status of our meals. I asked multiple times when was our meals coming anytime soon. Each time we got the response “yea a few more moments “ . It was people that came in way after us that was served, ate their meals, and left before we even seen our food. They waited for the last minute to serve us only giving us about 15 minutes to hurry up and eat before they closed. We waited over in hour to be rushed to eat with NO courtesy for our time and patience.. the meals we got came out hot but one meal was completely wrong. On top of that they expected us to still eat the food we didn’t order. They didn’t offer a discount or take off for the naan bread NOTHING! And to top that off the employees got in a heated argument while we was rushing to eat our food then they started turning lights off shutting everything off. One employee kept coming by us sweeping the same area over and over. Just overall not a great first time experience. You never know who you are serving so you should treat each customer the same across the board unfortunately we didn’t get that treatment.

We stopped in Greensboro on our journey back to Durham and we had chai here. We also ordered dinner to go. The chai was great except that is was not hot enough. We also had dessert on the spot. The serving size was rather small and left my daughter wanting another bowl. Besides that, the taste of both the rice pudding and rasmalai was great. The service was great and they answered all of my questions related to my daughters gluten free restrictions. Now once we get home, will see how good the main dishes are, but until now, it was great experience. My one complaint however, is that the service took a bit more time than I expected considering that we only ordered 2 cups of chai and a rasmalai and rice pudding on the spot. And the time to make and pack the actual order also took much more time than expected.

Garlic naan was a bit burned, i hope they will make it better next time. We ordered mughalai seekh kabab, which we felt was too dry

Big dinner out with family and our bunch ordered a variety of things and it was all really good. Staff was friendly and things were clean. Chicken 65 app was great esp. if you ask for the you gift sauce with it, okra app was great, curry was yummy. Just slightly spicy for our youngest but it was great.

Visited the first time and the ambiance looks cool. Just had uthappam and tea only. It tastes wonderful and the tomato chutney is wonderful. Sambar is also good but the tester might need some improvement. The presence of plating is great, the banana leaf and the sambar in a small bucket . I didn’t expect the presentation and taste of the food this level but it’s more than My expectation. The tea . Thank you for the wonderful food guys, keep it up.

I recently had lunch with a colleague at Taaza and the food was amazing. However, the Tea was terrible. The atmosphere was not the best, as there were a few flies and bugs inside the restaurant. Additionally, all the cases of beer were stacked up in front of the bar, as if they had just received a shipment- at 12pm.
