Yummy food. Stopped by on the way to the airport. My husband attempted to complete an eating challenge so he got a ton of food. I got the number 1 with French toast. Coffee was delicious. We left very full.

Great spot for a hearty meal. The corned beef hash omelet was delicious, and my wife’s biscuits and gravy were very good with plenty of sausage. We arrived around 6:30 and there were only a few tables left, so I recommend getting there early or planning extra time if you come later.

If you want super kind and friendly service with a smile, food that is made with love in appearance but most importantly that you can taste and a laid back and relaxing place to enjoy and experience it then look no further then here and you’ve found the place! My server Alyssa was awesome, and her recommendation the Corned Beef was absolutely delicious! Thank you SO much and 100% recommended and will be back if in the area!!

I’ve tried all the breakfast places in the area and this one is BY FAR the best, especially in service and flavor. Food always comes out quickly, hot, and delicious! The staff is super friendly and they even remember you after just one visit. My go to is an omelette and it always comes out looking and tasting awesome. Prices are fair as well. If you are looking for a diner in the Ellsworth area this is definitely the one to go to!

Had planned on going somewhere else this morning but when we got there it was extremely busy. I remembered Sylvia’s cafe was close by so i took the grandkids to Sylvia’s. We only waited a couple minutes to be seated. Everything was absolutely delicious! The toast was homeade which was very exciting to me. The kids wanted dessert and tried cinnamon bun bread pudding, strawberry shortcake, and strawberry apple pie. Everyone went home with full belly’s. We will definitely be back.

While traveling through the area, we decided to grab some breakfast and then popped into Sylvia’s Cafe without knowing what to expect. It was a Saturday, and the place was packed, but the wait was worth it! We put our name on the waiting list, and it was about a 20 min wait.
Although the restaurant is located in a shopping strip, once you walk inside, you feel transported. From the beautiful mural in the back of the restaurant to the many Maine-themed posters, it all made us feel so cozy.
Service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The extensive menu had a bit of all, from burgers to biscuits and gravy and – of course – all of your breakfast classics. Prices were excellent; most of the breakfast dishes also included coffee.
I went with the #1 breakfast special, and it was SO much food: 3 types of meat, eggs, French toast, and potatoes. Pro-tip: upgrade your potatoes for $1.99 to include cheese, peppers, and onions. It was delicious! My partner had the biscuits and gravy and loved it as well. We can’t wait to return once we’re back in the area!
