I have been wanting to come here for awhile and after seeing beard meats food came here it reminded me to come here. The place has a cool atmosphere and although it was in the afternoon the service was friendly and attentive. The pulled pork was perfect moist and nicely smoky in flavor and our appetizer of nachos was plentiful and very good with pieces of tender smoked beef mixed into it. Very nice neighborhood, the only knock is I couldn’t find beard’s picture on the wall of fame.

My wife, my dog and I came to Swingbellys today. The food and service was great, the waiter/bartender was very attentive to us and my dog, we sat out on the patio that is dog friendly and they offered our dog water, but we already had some for her. I ordered the Mac & Pete which was delicious my wife ordered bbq chicken and our dog got a burger which she devoured. Swingbellys is a very cool, we’ll be back again soon, since we are always on the lookout for a dog friendly place with great food.

I went there yesterday around 4ish. The hostess was really nice and the atmosphere was cool. I didn’t have a waitress take my order for like 10 minutes but I could seem them hanging out at the bar which I get I guess. I ordered the rib tips, and I think they must reheat them or something because the inside they were cold. I told the waitress and she politely took them in the kitchen and when they came back out they were burnt. If I hadn’t already order my meal to go I would’ve canceled it but I didn’t want them to go through the work of starting to make it for me to turn around and say I didn’t want it. I would probably go back for just drinks and the string onion rings. The food wasn’t great but the hostess was really nice and I appreciate you could pay using a qrcode. I spent $75 and unfortunately I ended up throwing out my meal because it just flavorless (to me).

I am an avid smoker and was very disappointed in the brisket and ribs. The brisket was grey and very dry, no flavor what so ever on the bark. There was absolutely no smoke ring in either brisket or ribs and no smoke flavor. I would say beans were good. Server was nice. Sorry, would not return.

Ordered the Lake Perch full order: Simply Terrible! I actually had to ask the waitress if what I ordered was in fact a “Full”. She assured me it was. It was dry without any flavor. This place usd to have pretty sold Perch. Needless to say but this joint is permantly f the list.

Sooooooooo good . I already started eating before I took my picture, sorry not sorry. Everything was delicious, service was amazing and the drinks were tasty and cold!! We went last minute on the 4th of July, plenty of seating (7:30ish pm). A little wait for the food but WELL WORTH IT!! No smoking inside but across the street from the outside patio works. Definitely a must in you find yourself in Long Beach, NYC!!
