Haven’t been in years. Never really liked the wings and I worked Downtown Detroit for years but decided to try them again on my way home from class along with the Potato Skins.
Skins were not fresh and had no taste Wings weren’t that great either. The inside seems like a nice spot for a Cocktail or to meet up with friends for a afterwork get together though.

My first time and maybe my last. I ordered the wings and fries to go.The food was wrapped very well and I didn’t check the wings ( they were wrapped in foil). When I got home I was very disappointed. Where do t start…..the wings were burnt. Not sauced well and hard. I am very disappointed. I also didn’t get the celery that should have been included. The menu also states about 8 to 10 wings i get 6 i believe. The service was amazing. The food not so much. The staff was very friendly. I wish the food was better.

On my most recent visit, I ordered the catfish and chicken tenders, while my wife went with the rib tips. Everything came out hot, fresh, and well seasoned, which is always a good sign. We walked in to order wings and was advised that any wing order would be at least an hour wait because they decided to take a 300 count wing order!!! I called and spoke with the manager, to express that I was upset and more so wondering why they would allow that big of a order when a 300 count wing order is technically considered a catering size platter. That should have been scheduled ahead of time so that it doesn’t disrupt the general flow of business on a Saturday evening. Anyway, the manager didn’t care to hear what I had to say and hung up on me.. mind you the manager is a man- very sassy, very rude, very unprofessional. Hopefully he see’s this, because he needs a class on customer relations, how to de escalate a minor issue at the least.

I sat down and wasn’t greeted by the bartender… like I wasn’t there until she asked if I was dining in or carrying out. I didn’t even get to eat or drink because the bartender and manager started to argue over the bartender leaving. It went on for a minute. It was disgusting to watch people act like that. I don’t mind giving grace bc I understand people get overworked/upset in the industry but to carry on in that manner was tacky on both ends. I should’ve known by the reviews but I gave it a chance. Never again.

The location is convenient and our waitress was very nice. The wings are just okay – nothing like the famous wings I remember. The sweatwater burger was pretty good. The fries were amazing. I would definitely return for the fries. I would get them to go. The gentleman who brought us our silverware and water sat a couple booths behind us towards the end of the visit and had an unending coughing fit. I hope he is well, but I’ll never eat inside again. For those that do, they had a great promo of beer, burger and fries for $15 Mon thru Fri 11-4.

Had the BBQ rib tips and 1/2order of wings w side of coleslaw. Comes with a potato (different types) but turned that down today.
The first bite into the ribs was juicy and tender and BBQ flavorful!! But, for the most part the rest of the rib tips weren’t as good and dry. The wings were really good w their signature sauce.
My guest had the full order of wings, bowl of greens and cornbreads. He said he would to have liked the wings “charred” bc he like his meats very well done. Hahaha. He still said they were good. The greens and cornbread was so good that he ordered a second helping!
Yes, we will come again and try their other menu items like the different types of salad.

Food was decent, not like downtown. Service was great, but it was hot as heck in the restaurant. I had to hurry and leave due to the lack of AC. O, AND THE PRICE FOR THE POTATOE SKINS was wild 10 bucks for 4 of them. Ugh I will stick to the downtown location.

Always frequented the Downtown Location, but this location is cool as well. Nice location to pick up a carry out , when I just wanna get home after work. Went for my BFF’s Bday for just a few drinks & a quick bite. Two of the waitresses were extremely nice. Made sure to tip them well.
