This bakery is a gem. My wife wanted a particular strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream icing, so I dropped in to see if they could accommodate the custom order. The girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I was impressed at the price. My wife was thrilled with the cake and we found it to be one of the best we’ve tasted. On two occasions I picked up a mix of pastries and desserts to bring to parties and everything has been wonderful quality. Brownies can be hard to get *just* right, and theirs is excellent. The cookies were well made, and theirs doughnuts are perfect. I will be returning often.

This review is long overdue. I did not get the name of the girl whose kindness and thoughtfulness that day made such a difference! I was pre-occupied. If she reads this review, she may remember.
On August 28, 2025 – 6:00pm or so, I arrived not realizing it was closed. They only just closed. I got to the door, this young lady informed me they were closed. I said ok, she must have seen the look on my face and she asked what I was looking for. I said a couple of cup cakes, really. Maybe 4 if there’s more. At the risk of her co-workers’ ire, she allowed me entry. Her co-workers were looking at each other with disapproval, but they didn’t say a word.
I completely understand. It was the end of their shift, they still had some clean-up to do before they could leave.
The girl who let me in packed up a few pretty cupcakes I selected and rang me out. I didn’t have cash to tip her, but I wish I had. Perhaps next time I come by, I will see her again and thank her.
There’s no way she could have known, but after a full day at the office, I had driven an hour to get to that area to visit my aunt who was in recovery. My aunt is very dear to me and we share a love of cup cakes and pretty confections. It was important because I already promised her I would stop to get some. It was late, I didn’t have a lot of time to find another place that possibly had pretty treats, I had a couple of hours to visit with my aunt and an hour drive home.
Although she is young, your employee had the presence of mind to show kindness, go against what the majority might have done, and in so doing – without her knowing – made such a difference that day! See my aunt’s face and how happy she is.
I wish I knew the girl’s name, I’ve been calling her the Sunflower girl. I didn’t want to press too much, but I wanted to leave this here. Thank you to the Sunflower girl for being kind, for being a ray of sunshine!
I left 4 stars for food because I didn’t have any of the food, so I couldn’t attest to that. The cupcakes were delicious!
4 stars for atmosphere because I liked what I saw, but didn’t get a chance to really get a feel for the atmo during business hours.

I don’t usually post reviews but Sweet T’s is truly an exceptional bakery. The cookies, donuts and danishes are consistently perfect. The staff is kind and helpful. The cakes are second to none. I just got a chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and it may be the best cake I’ve ever tasted (and looked exactly like the pinterest inspo photo I shared). Wish my wedding cake was that good! This is our second year getting birthday cakes at Sweet T’s and certainly not the last.

Yesterday – I visited the bakery for the first time! I got a brownie – beautiful and delicious and I gifted a few of the individual loaf packs – blueberry, marble and the Chocolate Chip to someone. They raved about them after having them for breakfast today! Highly recommend this bakery. Every person in there yesterday was so helpful and kind. I will definitely visit again.

We are brand new residents to Arlington Heights. I had no idea that there was an actual REAL bakery here other than Jewel. I just happened to find Sweet T’s while running an errand yesterday morning and, had to stop. I always judge bakery goods on my grandfathers bakery and the old standbys (Ideal, Thompson’s and Gladstone) and, how well they make our family favorites. I was so pleasantly surprised. Their apple slices and Swedish flop were the very best I’ve had in YEARS. The only bad thing about discovering Sweet T’s is the fact that I now I won’t be able to forget that it’s there and my wallet and waistline will definitely pay the price in the long run.

Went in to discuss and order a birthday cake after discussing a bit over email. They were friendly, easy to work with and responsive via email. I don’t know anything about making a cake or design so their guidance on what can be done and taste good was very appreciated. My order is for late March and I am so excited to see the final product.

This little bakery is super cute inside. Their bakery goods are reasonable price and super tasty! We have ordered custom cakes for second time now and our first time experience was amazing! They are pretty busy all the time. I would definitely recommend to go into store to get estimate than via email. I order custom cakes often for birthday party and fondant cakes are very high price these days. Sweet T prices are sooo reasonable for custom cakes.

Their cake isn’t all it’s hyped up to be. I got my daughter’s birthday cupcakes from here and they were dry. The design was super cute and they can definitely decorate very well, but the flavor profile lacks. You can get a way better cake for half the price at Walmart or jewel. I know, because I’ve gotten them from there as well.

I traveled from Michigan to Illinois to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday. Sweet t’s bakery made my daughter’s cake so beautiful and detail oriented.
