This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is so cozy. I feel like I’m eating at a family members house. The food was amazing. I enjoyed my visit. The waitress was very sweet and pleasant. Will most definitely be back. Ohhh the jalapeños muffins they bring to you when you first sit down are delicious.

Food was delicious. Once we placed our drink order they brought out a plate with corn muffins. They were still warm. We ordered meatloaf, chicken fried steak, grilled chicken. Or stuffed real mashed taters and gravy, cabbage, fried okra. That meatloaf was the best I’ve eaten since my mama passed on. Huge portions. Prices weren’t bad for the amount of food. Will definitely go back.

The restaurant is quaint and comfortable – tastefully decorated. I really was routing for them, but my food missed the mark. All the vegetables that my husband and I had were excellent as was the cornbread. The menu didn’t have all the country food goodies I was hoping for. I got the chicken fried steak. It had a good flavor, but was somewhat greasy and the batter had bubbled off the meat which they tried to cover with gravy. My husband ordered the steak medium rare but got medium to medium well with a large piece of fat on the end. He said it was too salty also. The staff was lovely. I know it’s difficult to be great 100% of the time so I will give them another try sometime. I heard the chicken and dumplings were good, but they’re only served on Sunday.

We gathers at Sweet Cheeks to celebrate my daughters birthday and it was the best place for our small family. We were able to make a reservation for Tuesday night without a problem. Our waiter greeted us at the door and brought us to the best room with plenty of seating and ample table room. The restaurant is in an old home that makes it feel like eating at Grandma’s and the various dishes they serve on go right along with that time period. Our food was so delicious and was cooked perfectly. The jalapeños corn muffins with butter they started us off with were so tasty along with their sweet tea. We had Chicken Fried Steak dinners, Fried Pork Chop dinners and one person ate the special of warm, delicious Chicken Spaghetti. The vegetables were cooked to perfections with the Cabbage, Lima Beans and Mashed Potatoes with the best made from scratch cream gravy as our favorites along with their wonderful green beans. My granddaughters kids meals were as good as our meals (homemade Chicken Strips and one Grill Cheese). No better made to order food around. Our server was great!! He had no problem keeping us up to date on when our food would be served and check in periodically to see if we needed anything without being a pest. We will definitely be back for more of Sweet Cheeks food!! ❤

It’s an old house converted into a restaurant, each room has tables. You pick where you want to sit. All cooked fresh, homestyle. They also have a wine tasting outdoors under the trees.
