Update: I would consider ourselves as repeat customers, for sure. More pictures to post. Again, they knocked it out of the park. (My son started on the meatloaf before I could get the untouched version, but I understand, I’ve had the meatloaf before and its good) We also had the chicken fried steak & smothered hamburger steak. All was outstanding!!

Food was delicious. Once we placed our drink order they brought out a plate with corn muffins. They were still warm. We ordered meatloaf, chicken fried steak, grilled chicken. Or stuffed real mashed taters and gravy, cabbage, fried okra. That meatloaf was the best I’ve eaten since my mama passed on. Huge portions. Prices weren’t bad for the amount of food. Will definitely go back.

This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is so cozy. I feel like I’m eating at a family members house. The food was amazing. I enjoyed my visit. The waitress was very sweet and pleasant. Will most definitely be back. Ohhh the jalapeños muffins they bring to you when you first sit down are delicious.

We gathers at Sweet Cheeks to celebrate my daughters birthday and it was the best place for our small family. We were able to make a reservation for Tuesday night without a problem. Our waiter greeted us at the door and brought us to the best room with plenty of seating and ample table room. The restaurant is in an old home that makes it feel like eating at Grandma’s and the various dishes they serve on go right along with that time period. Our food was so delicious and was cooked perfectly. The jalapeños corn muffins with butter they started us off with were so tasty along with their sweet tea. We had Chicken Fried Steak dinners, Fried Pork Chop dinners and one person ate the special of warm, delicious Chicken Spaghetti. The vegetables were cooked to perfections with the Cabbage, Lima Beans and Mashed Potatoes with the best made from scratch cream gravy as our favorites along with their wonderful green beans. My granddaughters kids meals were as good as our meals (homemade Chicken Strips and one Grill Cheese). No better made to order food around. Our server was great!! He had no problem keeping us up to date on when our food would be served and check in periodically to see if we needed anything without being a pest. We will definitely be back for more of Sweet Cheeks food!! ❤

This is a true hidden gem. Darrell from Farmers Funeral Home told me about Sweet Cheeks Cafe so I was like what the heck try something new.
The Jalapeño Cornbread was slap ya mama good. Green beans with bacon were seasoned just right made me want to get up and see who’s in the kitchen.
Mash potatoes on point and the Chicken Spaghetti made me want to be greedy and order another plate; I wasn’t greedy.
Sweet Cheeks Cafe is not like you are going to a restaurant. It’s like you are going to to a friend’s or family members house for good company, good food, and a good time.

This place rocks. Fried okra is the best I’ve ever had. If you want a southern cooking small town experience, this place is it! My husband and I played washers on the lawn, it was great!

Really nice staff, cute house turned restaurant. They have a/c’s in each room. There is parking in front and on the side. The food was good, homecook flavors and made with pride. Some of the items lacked flavor. But overall, we enjoyed our lunch.
