We are at the BBQ side and it was very delicious food!! We got good portions for the price. The pizza place was cool they help.ypu on either side with the friendliest service. We recommend the onion strings for sure! They were amazing not even little slivers! Everything has its own flavor and compliments each other well!

Nothing better than a small town pizza and bbq restaurant! It’s hard to do both correctly and they do it here. We went during the lunch buffet for salad bar and pizza and it was $13.50 which is a great price and totally worth it! The pizza was fresh, hot, and so many different choices from Cuban to sausage and pepperoni to Margherita, Hawaii, and barbecue! We will definitely be back to try the bbq side of things but the pizza for us is 100%. Customer service is great and the girls working were so kind!

That smokehouse is absolutely one of the best barbecue pizza I’ve ever had. It has a really strong smoky flavor and just enough barbecue sauce to pizza sauce ratio but doesn’t make a difference, you can still taste it. I ordered for pick up and it was ready within The timeline that they stated for getting there. Perfect For picking up lunch

My wife and I are new to the area, and figured we would stop by and try out the restaurant (since it’s very busy most of the time). We opted to try the Lunch Pizza Buffet with the salad bar. There were plenty of (fresh) pizza options to choose from. We definitely look forward to coming back and trying the bbq since the Smokehouse pizza was very good!!

We stopped in a small town to meet with a breeder and stumbled across this little pizza shop/barbecue spot and I’m so glad we did. The place was very clean, and everything looked brand new, so I’m guessing it’s a newer business, but it’s definitely well maintained. We tried the brisket sandwich, cheesy garlic bread, and cheese fries, and everything was pretty good. A nice little find if you’re passing through! The only thing I thought was that the brisket sandwich could have used a little bit more sauce but then again I like heavy sauces !! Flavor was great though!

i’ve alternated trying the pizza and bbq both about once a month since the establishment has opened. i took in to consideration working out bugs with a new business and that’s why ive waited to form an opinion overall. i’m not a picky eater and have never had the desire to right a review for a dinning experience but this calls for it. from when i went on opening day until late august, the pizza has never been consistent. its either thick or thin and most of the time both all in 1 pizza. if ordered for pickup, it’s usually hot and does the job but the lunch buffet is normally cold and old pizza. the brisket is always fatty or burnt and also inconsistent. i’ve tried the pulled pork, the pulled chicken and the burnt ends as well. very tough meat. food can be hot and fresh or not fresh and cold. the picture below shows ketchup and bbq sauce side by side. slight difference in color and taste but 1 is 100% ketchup and one is “bbq sauce”. i wouldn’t recommend anything to anyone at this time. i cannot justify spending roughly 20 dollars a meal for cold or burnt inconsistent food. and over 20 to 30 for take out pizza.

Always incredible!! I cannot emphasize how amazing the owners and staff are!! Such professional and considerate people who always greet you with a smile and leave you laughing as you leave the building. The food is consistently delicious as well as the service and atmosphere of the place. At the least, my house is ordering from here twice a week. You walk in knowing that you’re receiving the correct order which is guaranteed to leave you in a lovely food coma. Thank you guys for the impeccable service and food every single time!! Sweeney’s is an absolute treasure yall have brought to Roanoke. We will always be back. Thank you!!!
