We got there a bit after 11am and service was super slow. There wasn’t a waitress around. The bartender/maybe owner seemed a bit overwhelmed. Trying to get everything organized for the day. No issue on my end, I get it. I got 10 hot wings and shared half basket of fries. Omg, it was delicious!!! The fries were hand cut and just perfectly cooked. I couldn’t stop eating them. This was my first experience and definitely not my last. Cash only!

Wings were great. Waitress never told me how much the up charge was for all drums when I asked ($6). My pint was far from a full pour. Still a good place but I recommend it a little less enthusiastically…..I miss Debbie…RIP

Went for the history. Very unique little place. CASH ONLY, so come prepared, or you can use the ATM on site. So much stuff to look at, a little piece of history on every wall. Definitely a must see if you’re visiting Buffalo. And check out the restored whiskey painted sign on the side of the building.

Everytime I’m back in Buffalo, I try to pay Swannie House a visit. This is a no-thrills, locals bar in a truly historic part of Buffalo. Everyone I’ve met here is super friendly and welcoming. Come have a beer, and I highly recommend their wings too!

Food and service were both great. Music was too loud to converse which was disappointing. Parking is ideal. Cash only was a bit challenging. ATM inside. Will definitely be back!

Wings are fantastic. Get the liverwurst sandwich too! Cash only. Old school bar/tavern with nice outdoor seating. Easy walk from Canalside.

First off I want to start by saying I’ve been going to this place for years and I absolutely loved it but tonight I went to the bandits game with some friends and showed up there doing a half hours early so we could eat and have a few drinks and go to the game. Well long story short we did not receive our food for 2 hours and 15. Ask the waitress multiple times where are food was and explained that we had tickets to the game she seemed to get really agitated. I don’t think I’m going to be going back here again just because of this one bad experience and like I said it’s a shame because I have been going there before sabres games and other events at the arena my whole life. And when we finally did receive our food the wings were absolutely awful absolutely no sauce on them
