I haven’t posted in a while but felt it was important to take a moment and provide input on our experience. Let me start with the quality of the food is very good and, despite the prior customer service issues, we decided to return – big mistake. While we enjoy good food, if there are recurring issues it sours the experience and leads to making new choices and new memories.

Outstanding! Visiting the area and made reservations based off the reviews. So happy we did! The food (Sophia’s Flatbread, Smoked Salmon Tower and Zucchini Blossoms were AMAZING as well as the surprise Zeppole). To make the whole experience wonderful was the pleasant and helpful disposition of our Waitress, Kennedi!

Been to S&V several times. The last 2 were disappointing. Charcuterie board was uninteresting and this time the gnocchi dish was not great. For $22 it was a small shallow bowl with quite mushy gnocchi, the creamy truffle sauce broke after a few minutes and was a puddle of butter. The chicken was dry going on jerky and had the taste of microwaved chicken. The service was very good and they replaced the chicken, it was obviously from a different dish they serve and was overly marinated in garlic. It was better but not great. I have had better dishes here. Service is always good and atmosphere is nice.

Enjoyed a brunch/happy hour on a Saturday. Saw the place when looking at another place in the same complex. Glad we did! The menu was robust and the food delicious. Little show on the patio, but had to enjoy one more weekend in AZ before it gets too hot. Meatballs were $11 but I paid extra fur the argula.

Neighborhood restaurant, not great food but decent. We’ve been a few times this past year. Unfortunately tonight they blew it for good. We’ve noticed that the place has had less & less people too. Now we know why! When we asked for the manager to turn the air conditioning up (it was freezing inside the restaurant), the owner came out & said he couldn’t move the needle on the unit. He explained that the temperature was where it neeeded to be. His attitude was the issue. He was not nice about it. We should’ve left then. We stayed. There was 7 of us. Our server was very nice & she tried to make up for the owners bad attitude. We had drinks, appetizers, lots of food & desserts. At the end of the dinner we gave the server a coupon that the owner would not take because the dinner was ordered during the hours of “happy hour” even though our dinners & desserts were not happy hour prices. They should have taken off the $ anyway. We spent over $400! They could have at least taken off a few $$. Just as a nice gesture! Bottom line… the owner obviously doesn’t care about his customers. A small gesture goes a long way especially in the restaurant game where there’s a million places to choose from!

I came here with family and we have several of their staples. I had the spaghetti and my wife the salad. We also had several of the bruschettas. This was one of the best meals I’ve had everything tasted surprisingly good. It was well worth the price because the portion sizes were huge. I highly recommend trying this place if you have a craving for Italian.
