This hidden gem of a place has great nigiri maki and everything else I’ve tried is the best …period full stop! The Japanese friends ate what i brought and said this is some of the best they’ve had in Alberta!! High praise. Keep up the stellar effort; some of us notice your high level of expertise! This tiny take out restaurant is pretty good! Toro(tuna belly) was melt in your mouth fresh. Salmon skin cone was bombs. Alaskan salmon roll also good. Tako wasabi was tasty as well. I like how they don’t use tempura batter/crabmeat as fillers for their rolls, as some restaurants do. Would definitely come here again.

One of my favourite sushi restaurants in the Edmonton area and for sure the best in St.Albert. It’s cozy and family run. Sushi is delicious and fresh too. Great place for take out and there’s a couple tables for dine in too. It’s a hidden gem that you have to check out!!

Been coming to Yuzen since opening week at the original location and can’t say enough good things about them. Hands down the best sushi place I have ever been too. Always fresh and beautifully prepped. I can say honestly I have tried 90% of the menu over the years and it’s all excellent. My two top picks would be salmon sashimi and the rainbow roll.
