Service is very good here and the food is super nice. Definitely one of the best cheap omakases ive ever been to. The price point is also very reasonable. I enjoy every piece the chef made. The freshness of the fish is supreme.

Great place, very affordable. Great customer service and tip was included! The host kept coming over to explain the food we were being served and they gave my boyfriend a little surprise for his birthday! Would recommend

This was such a wonderful experience. We went for omakase and the sushi was delicious. The chef and staff were helpful and knowledgeable. For the price, it can’t be beat. Really soothing jazz was playing the whole time too, wonderful date night.

It’s not these guys’ first rodeo. After success at the original location, this second outpost provides a chance for more people to access this amazing experience. It’s almost like clockwork as the chef churns out almost 20 pieces of sushi in less than an hour. Everything is already set up, with sliced fish neatly organized, and several marinated pieces taken out at the right time to serve. The nigiri are served with a variety of garnishes, some even flame torched. And the flavoring is bold, while not overpowering the fresh taste of the fish. At this very reasonable price point you can’t expect rare and pricey types of fish, but what they do serve is fresh and well prepared. Also, I would say the renovation job was good and the place looks higher end than its competitors in this “good deal omakase” space.

Decent ambiance and service, rice was a little too hard and some of the fish was tough.

This is a fantastic place for affordable omakase! I really enjoyed all the nigiris I had, but it seemed like a very rushed experience. I had to pull up the online menu to figure out which piece of nigiri was what, as some of the pieces weren’t introduced before being plopped on the plate in front of me. Time slots are for an hour per reservation, but I had finished all my nigiri and hand rolls by around the 30 minute mark. I’ve had sushi from other omakase spots before, ranging in a plethora of prices, and Sushi W is definitely on the more affordable side. This is a good spot for anyone looking for their first omakase experience, but for a veteran sushi enthusiast probably not one you would be completely mesmerized by.

This place was delicious, simple, clean and absolutely affordable for an Omakase. Highly recommend. Get a reservation. We had the premium omakase for $68, they have a less premium option for $52. Price includes tip!

Just went to Japan in February, and this is one of the best Omakase experiences stateside you can have, especially for the price. The staff is super accommodating and the fish is fresh with unique flavors as well as the rice. The atmosphere is relaxed but quaint, and help guide you through the experience where you comfortable, especially for those that are new to the Omakase experience. It was a great place to take people that have never been and would recommend this place to anyone that visits. They have two locations and the whole experience took about an hour.

Supper club meets omakase. The food steals the show and staff make the experience. What a GEM of a restaurant. I can’t wait to return.
