First time being here for lunch. They have lunch deals which come with a miso soup. Honestly didn’t expect the sushi sampler to be so big. It was a lovely surprise for a good price. The server lady was attentive. Sushi was delicious, with big portions of meats. Parking is a bit tricky, but there is always a spot somewhere.

My only gripe about this fantastic place is the music. I’ve been coming here consistently for a few years. The sushi is always great. The atmosphere also great. Very nice ambiance. However when I first dined here the music was more authentic… zenlike…relaxing and matched the ambiance but now we have an elevator music soundtrack with artists like Richard Marx, Celine Dion …. just thought it was better before but will still keep coming back!

I tried a Super Sam rolled which had shrimp tempura, crabmeat & cucumber. Tasty! I’ve tried many of their menu items over a period of time and their food is consistently good. Their service is quick& efficient. The restaurant is tucked inside a shopping center and is a nice& pretty space. There is plenty of seating.

The atmosphere is set just as you’d think, small but big enough for a good dinner. Sushi was fresh and large size cuts. I think price matches the quality and quantity of sushi you get. We enjoyed and will be back

Chewy Salmon! These salmons need a massage. It got a bunch of knots (tendon) in it. LOL. We asked for a remake and chef cut a new fresh ones but still have knots. We couldn’t chew them off so we had to discard them. We talked to the server and she mentioned that it depends on the part of the fish. And we still got charge for the food that we couldn’t eat anyway. I wish there would be a better customer service to take care of this issue. Also, they forgot our original salmon order until we already finish eating. One point is off for forgetting order. One point is off for chewy fish. One point is off charging us for the food that we couldn’t eat. I give 2 stars because Garlic Edamame and Eel sushi (extra crispy request) came out lovely.

This place has great sushi! Good selection and variety. Can get handrolls if that is your preference. Besides sushi, there are other Japanese favorites. This is a quaint restaurant. Staff is personable. I will be back to eventually sample all the sushi on the menu.
