After so many years, finally came around to visit this place today, about a month before they are closing. Very delicious food. Breads were spot on and pastas dishes were juicy and flavorful. Too bad they are closing in a month.

Abby was a great waitress. The food and wine were reasonably priced and tasted amazing. They also make a great blackberry sour. If you go early, it’s nice and quiet.

I was a regular ordering this food to go for a long time. I had vowed to eat here at least once a week when I heard they were closing, only to my surprise to find they disabled all online/to go ordering. Apparently the only customers they care about are ones who dine in (which is never me). Duly noted, guess you couldn’t compete with the one down the street that starts with a V.

Food was decent, but never amazing, though the prices were fair. I’m left with a terribly sour taste though over no longer doing online orders. Can’t say I’ll miss them.

The ravioli was like my mother made, Josephine formato, The Marinara souse was flavored nicely and thick. The bread was like what we had in Endicott, NY. I am so sorry to here it is closing and I never been there till now. Much happiness and good health in the future/

This is our go to restaurant for anniversaries and birthdays. From the appetizers to the main course to the dessert – everything is outstanding! My favorite meal is the caprese pasta with shrimp. My husband and son love the tiramisu, while my daughter and I love the flourless chocolate cake!

I had dinner with 3 friends last night and it was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had!!
1st off we had reservations at 6:15 and the owner (who was the host) told us our table wouldn’t be ready for 15-20 minutes, then he came back 5 minutes later and told us the same thing. At 6:25 he told us he could seat us outside (our reservation was for inside) immediately if we wanted…which we decided to accept. So we were seated at 6:30, our server finally came to our table 15 minutes later to take our drink order and at that time we placed our dinner order. We finally got our dinner at 7:45, the veal Marsala was terrible and the chicken parm was overcooked and tasted awful! The service overall was terrible!

My date and I neither one are huge pasta fans but so much wanted to visit DiFabio’s Casapela because it seems so quaint and inviting from the outside. The evening we visited we sat on the porch, which had been enclosed and had a space heater. The setting and ambiance were ideal. We ordered as an appetizer the calamari fritti. It was tasty. My date ordered the veal marsala with the mushroom, Marsala wine and cream sauce served over angel hair pasta. I ordered grilled aioli salmon with sauteed squash and zucchini. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetables which were perfectly cooked, and I enjoyed the taste of the salmon which was presented with an excellent temperature and a rewarding taste. My date felt the veal was undercooked so sent it back to be cooked longer and upon receiving it the second time was satisfied. However, either because she and I are not familiar with the dish or otherwise, we felt the sauce had been cooked too long and left an unpleasant almost bitter taste to the her Marsala veal meal – and that was even before she sent it back. She felt the sauce ruined the meal even when the veal she thought was undercooked. My date ate her dinner reluctantly only not to waste it, but it was not a pleasant experience for her. I, too, did not enjoy the taste of her meal and I felt bad for her. We were both very hungry upon arriving to DiFabio’s Casapela. She asked that we order tiramisu so she could have a good taste to close out her meal, but we were both disappointed with the tiramisu because it tasted as though it had been frozen and then thawed too quickly and had kind of a watery texture with the cake cookies that was not typical of the tiramisu she and I typically very much enjoy. I did thoroughly enjoy my meal but I cannot say the same about my date – maybe it’s because we don’t know just how the Masala dish is supposed to taste.

Great new family spot for my sons and I. Introduced my 13 year old to Calamari and now he is addicted. All of our entrées were good. We chose lasagna, Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Parmigiana.
