Went through the drive through an ordered a meal of chicken strips.
Strips were cold tasteless and the gravey was like white water.
Drive throughs are not good idea, however it has become a way of doing things.

We ordered 3 Funnel cakes and they were disgusting. Hard and un eatable. The okra was hard and old. The bathrooms were disgusting also. Just a bad place to visit.

I used to live here almost 30 years ago, so this restaurant wasn’t here then.
I went thru drive thru . The young lady was very sweet and helpful since I had never been there before.
After ordering my chicken dinner she asks I’m ok with to wait a few minutes for the chicken to made fresh. I said absolutely!
I Pulled forward and a young , friendly cook brought it out a few minutes later and apologized for the extra time , and I said “ no problem “ I will totally wait for fresh fried chicken “ haha
Anyway, it all was so fresh and delicious! Chicken was crispy and fried perfectly. The okra was awesome, and the green beans too!
And I appreciate the container that they put my food in, with a matching lid that had separate compartments,
That was a really good surprise that I wish other diners would do!
Definitely will go back again!

I hardly ever eat there or drive threw but was cravein a fried fish plate but the fish wasnt warm or as crispy as I tryed it a few years ago I loved the fish from there but today just wasn’t the same n it was so cold like it was there for s while

Absolutely the best in town! Great food, great service! Good prices as well. Sometimes crowded, but always delicious. The tea is the top. Can’t beat a large 32oz. for a dollar!
The place is easily a popular favourite, I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about it. I can’t see how people prefer Church’s. they might be cheaper, but GC is by far the best.

I’ve always received great customer service at this Golden Chick, but I want to specifically shout out Mark for his years of excellent service! He is always friendly and efficient. The food is consistently fresh, and I have to say, the sweet tea is hands down the best in town!

The gravy was very watered down, the coleslaw has an odd taste too it, the okra was decent and the rolls were amazing. The chicken tenders were on the small side. $65 for the 20 piece with 3 sides and extra gravy wasn’t worth it. The drive thru server was great tho. Very polite and reading the order back was great.
